i guess i also do not really see the benefit of them continuing to post as such other than the 'fun' element and yeah would prefer to avoid random disaster for no reason

okay i know that you know i like to play as confirmed (though in this game i am currently feeling at least ~somewhat~ reasonable so would not push for it because i know that i can just keep playing everyone will see eventually anyway)
but! i am not completely unworried that you are doing this to try to get other people to rush pairings

assume scum!pooky and town!shiki, then he has pocketed you into thinking he's town and get the additional benefit of having a small chance that you escape with them. he gets a fan throughout the entire game.
assume scum!pooky and scum!shiki, then you declaring right now that you won't accept it makes it so that you're not immediately discovered to be buddies.
assume town!pooky and scum!shiki, then this dialogue makes a lot of sense for you to continue to encourage them as you head for a swift exit.
it surprises me that you have not thought about those angles.
