Kirin tor isn't bad even with no secrets.
2 shieldbearers is = = thoguh.
The rest of that deck is crazy though. 2x flamestrike, fireball, poly, frostbolt, and a pyroblast.Fluffy fluffy~~~ |"READING KATSUKI IS LIKE SOME SORT OF POSTMODERN ARTFORM"- GreyICE

Oh I didn't see Mirror Entity or Ice Barrier (both are bad usually).
It's more than the two Flamestrikes though... it's that Argent Commander/Silver Hand Knight/Water Elemental/Sen'jin Shieldmasta/Mana Wyrm are some of the best creatures to have for mage
I don't see Pyroblast anywhere?green shirt thursdays-

It's not in the screenshot. He said he has stormwind champion and pyroblast in the deck, but they aren't seen in the screen. In post 226, xRECKONERx wrote:Oh I didn't see Mirror Entity or Ice Barrier (both are bad usually).

Mana wyrm is a beast. That card dishes so much damage. It's incredible.Windows hasn't detected any keyboard. Press Enter.-

It's cut off. He made a note of it in the post.
The spells he has in his deck are all really nice though and he got extremely lucky to get so many good spells.
Why does everyone love silver hand knight so much btw?Fluffy fluffy~~~ |"READING KATSUKI IS LIKE SOME SORT OF POSTMODERN ARTFORM"- GreyICE

Shieldbearers are okayish given the strength of the rest of the deck. The only thing they do is tank up 4 damage each, which is decent for 1 mana, and nice to slow down the enemy tempo. Ice barrier is similar, 8 tanked damage for 3 mana. Not gonna win you the game, but is gonna slow down losing, possibly to the point where you win.
And kirin tor is a 4/3 for 3. How the hell is that bad?-

Well . . . something happened as I was loading into a game against some Paladin. It didn't load in far enough to hear the heroes do their intimidation shouts, let alone load in the opening draws. After a minute or so I disconnected from the game. Since then, every time I tried to reconnect to the client, it attempts to load me into that same game with a Paladin, who has long become UNKNOWN. I've tried disconnecting and reconnecting the internet, loading into the Euro server, disconnecting, and connecting back to the Americas, waiting far over two minutes between attempts to connect, attempting to concede . . . it's always that broken game against that bloody nonexistent Paladin when I start it up again, and I can't do anything to get myself out of it. Hearthstone purgatory.-

I played this a little last night. It doesn't seem to have much depth yet.-

I'm guessing that this develops as you get higher in ranked, because right now I'm playing low-level ranked with a Mage deck I cobbled together with free cards (Taunt OP) and absolutely wiping face just by being patient in my matches. I know I can grind out my opponents 9 times out of 10 as long as I don't get greedy. In post 241, xRECKONERx wrote:There's not a TON of depth but... there's a lot more than meets the eye.Ski mask? So, I checked out this game a few days ago, and it does seem pretty nice. So far I'm doing pretty well on casual with the basic decks, but I know that's not exactly the whole game. I'm a little bit overwhelmed by the deckbuilder though. I just don't know how to begin or where to aim for. Does anyone have some good tips on how to get started with that?[ɜytə] — Ceterum censeo spumam delendam esse

Play some casual games until you understand the game better with whatever deck you want.In post 245, Uite wrote:So, I checked out this game a few days ago, and it does seem pretty nice. You will then see what your deck lacks and what it needs more.
There are usually three types of decks:
1)Control: Aim for staying alive as much as possible and kill them late game with your very big threats. Control decks play a lot of removal and cards that keep them alive long enough to drop big and powerful creatures that are preferably hard to destroy.
2)Aggro: Deal damage and fast. The purpose of this deck is to kill its opponent as fast as possible. You don't care about your HP or anything at all. Your goal here is to kill the opponent before they can kill you.
3)Combo: Have two cards that synergies with each other and do crazy shit. An example would be the Priest deck that ramps a Lightspawn or similar and gives it HP bonuses.
All other decks are usually variations of these. You should aim to have cards that help one of these decks.Windows hasn't detected any keyboard. Press Enter.-

Essentially, you can make a deck with whatever you want, but think of everything as wanting to get card advantage. In post 245, Uite wrote:So, I checked out this game a few days ago, and it does seem pretty nice. - You play a 4/5 creature. Your opponent plays a single kill spell. Even trade.
- You play a 4/5 creature that spawns a 4/5 when killed. Your opponent plays a kill spell. You come out ahead.
Deck synergies need to focus on maintaining board control while maintaining card advantage. There are a few exceptions to this (namely the Warlock Zoo deck that is the bane of my existence right now) but it's a good rule to follow for the most part.
Aggro decks want to play cheap guys that can go to the face, or in the case of stuff like Zoo, play cheap small dudes then buff them to trade with bigger dudes. Examples of popular aggro decks right now are: Aggro Hunter, Warlock Zoo Rush, Paladin Rush
Control decks want to keep the board clear of threats in the early to mid game until they can start slamming down their win conditions in the form of big mana fatties. Check out these decks for examples: Control Warrior, Control Shaman, Control Priest, Giants Paladin
Midrange decks want to slowly build to a scary board in the middle turns of the game and win quickly after that: Midrange Shaman, Midrange Budget Druid, Midrange Warrior
Combo decks are few and far between, but still fun: Druid Tokens, Miracle Rogue
If you're looking for a budget deck to play, Warlock Zoo and Budget Druid are both great. Most halfway decent decks are going to need epics/legendaries though... although, one of the professional players DID just reach legend rank using this Free to Play Shaman deck. No rares or crazy cards required.green shirt thursdays-
