Perhaps because, oh, he hasn't been here for a few years and site meta has evolved? (Disclaimer: nonverified assertion; I think he said something about this was his first game back.)

@Math: It's near the bottom, Minis are allowed 1 role/modifier that isn't explicitly normal and Larges 2, as long as they aren't explicitly non-Normal.

So if we have a Cop it's still alive.

It should investigate vikingfan.

Does anyone know if someone claimed Cop already?

If so, judging by the fact that person isn't dead, maybe the dead Doc protected that Cop player, and could mean we're looking at 3 killing factions. The unique part of vf's claim rings a bit with that sentiment.

vf claimed he was told he was attacked and protected, ever heard of this before?

He's the only one who claimed cop so far. He said he got no result last night.

Those unique slots can also include mechanics.

This includes original ones not in the wiki.

Let's think on this for a minute. Why would VF, if Scum, go through the trouble of making an incredibly dubious-sounding claim when he could go the easy route? Do you remember when I claimed Sensor and how everyone reacted in spite of my honesty? Let's not forget the lessons of the past so quickly (I often tell this to myself).

The guy who claimed Doc, sans the RB and our Doc, may be killed Day 2. That much is obvious.

No one claimed doc. Boon crumbed it. He was killed. No one else has claimed doc.

Claimed Cop, not Doc.

Speaking of which, that reminded me to check and Non-Consecutive is an explicitly Normal modifier, in case anyone wondered.

Troll approved

I'm being serious. If anyone was clever enough to think about it for five seconds they'd understand why.

On another note, NY178 had some Odd-Even, a Fibbonaci or Prime or some such, and some full roles, and NY167 had a full Gunsmith and an Even Gunsmith, and those are just ones I've been involved in. It's not unusual for mixed modifiers to happen.

CAN WE NOT ASSOCIATIVES BEFORE FLIPS

IT IS DAY FUCKING TWO

KTHX

p-edit: Well if anyone from the NRG was going to approve something weird...

I've seen really weird stuff, too, with those unique slots.

I can definitely see the 'Loud' mechanic or some elaborate variation and/or combination thereof.

Yes, what about this then? If he's alive tomorrow we question his results and his claim further rather than lynch someone who may actually be the cop for all we know right now?

ellie, I think you saw my quote already but in case people didn't see it already, this is my first game back, and no I haven't played anywhere else.

And I'm half wondering how much Wake is paying attention given his complete inattention to who just died...

As I said already, I'm not optimistic that I live out the night unless we have some other protective role out there to protect me which I only give a 50-50 chance. Though there is always the chance scum leaves me alive tonight and tries to lynch me again tomorrow on the 'you should already be dead' logic and try to gain a free lynch.

BTW, ABR, there are probably several other scum in this game. Mind giving your opinion on other players besides me? I haven't heard any today.

Still waiting on an answer to this one...

Oh yeah Elusive music party...Let's turn this music towards the murderousness of scum.

"I got a lot to say, and I don't care if you agree."

"Cuz I'm a super girl, here to save the world, I got the power in the palm of my hand."

@All -- Everyone vote please if only one of ABR/VF was scum who. Reasons optional vote is not.
