My "logic" on lynching Levi was 100% legit Town logic. If you ever find a traitor in a non-bastard game? Lynch him. He's scum. And that's the truth.

Town *did* listen to you. That's how Safety got lynched. Once Safety was lynched, you weren't actually a Traitor anymore since *I* couldn't convert you. Additionally, when you got Safety lynched, I was DOUBLE BONED because we skipped the night phase and I didn't have a chance to kill a Townie.

So to recap:
The Traitor outed 1/2 the scum team on DAY 2.
Beginning on Day 3 it was 1 against everyone.
I couldn't convert the Traitor.
I couldn't kill a Townie N2 since N2 didn't exist.
I couldn't kill a Townie N3 since my target was a Hider
I couldn't kill a Townie N4 since my target choices were either a Hider or BP [AJ].
OH! And EVERYONE knew I was scum.

I'm actually getting legitimately annoyed by people acting like Town was dumb this game in some arguments and that the odds were stacked against the

in other arguments because my Cop claim was

impossible

to fake. The bottom line is that the only reason I won this game was through sheer willpower and a couple of lucky breaks. That's it. Give me

some

credit. Sheesh!

I feel like the only person with a legit gripe is Fuzzy. If Levi just outed himself on Day 1 [again - that whole argument came from a legit Town mindset], Fuzzy would have lived and I would have had even LESS of a chance of victory.

I feel like this was my biggest win on site and the best I've ever played and I can't even enjoy it because of all the sour grapes. And that makes me sad.

I still say you deserve sweet grapes. I've never felt this GOOD about a defeat before. I feel we both played to the best of our ability and in the end I was beaten fair and square.

Had you been barely paying attention to the game and simply riding out your claim I probably wouldn't feel this way.

No, Yates. You played very well. This doesn't change the fact that any halfway competent town SHOULD have won. You definitely won this, but along the same vein town lost this game hard too.

Town was outplayed, simple as that. You couldn't have changed the outcome by not getting lynched Mhork. Stop taking this so personally. It is a GAME afterall and someone had to lose.

To be completely honest, and this is something I've been trying to avoid saying, YOU didn't deserve to win considering the effort you were putting in in the final days. You spent half the time VLA and weren't bothering to catch up when you were back. You raged and insulted the playerbase multiple times and were generally not great to be around.

When you speak of town not being competent, speak for yourself. Yates, SP, AJ, and most of the other players made a good go at this game and I consider them all to be quite competent.

I'm not trying to be mean here. I would like it if you stuck to the site and continued to put effort in and grow as a player but you CAN'T insult other players like that. It's not tolerated by anyone and it's a good way to get yourself blacklisted and/or modkilled.

It's also a great way to get yourself lynched. For me, it's policy. I hope you actually learn something from this.

I still think the cop claim sealed the game, so Yates' excellent scumplay wasn't the decisive factor for scum victory. Best fakeclaim is very much what I would nominate this for, if it still existed.

You can nominate yourself? I had no idea that was an option. It really shouldn't be. Imagine winning from a self nomination? Unfulfilling would be an understatement.

P-edit. He manipulated the final outcome by creating a perfectly believable claim so I believe it is still in the spirit of that category. I don't know how you feel but I feel pretty manipulated. I voted AJ without flinching. I was 100% sure he was scum.
