Not a fan of this, when I use my phone to read the forums I use signatures as a way to identify the author without scrolling to the left to see their avatar. This makes that harder.-

Without pulling through the list of "Where did I put the fuck I was going to give" images, I'm just trying to make a point in my own way. No one will care what I have to say if I just try to make it as a point - because I'm always on the wrong side - so I do it in my own way. I don't care f it comes off as ridiculous, childish, immature or whatnot."Animorpherv1's posts are so powerful that prolonged exposure may cause vertigo, nausea, acute tinnitus, and in rare cases, death." - vonflare

Somehow...somehow this is more childish than the sig. It's unfortunate that good oral sex excuses bad chemistry. - Korts-

I like it. However, there seems to be a simple and elegant solution to this whole thing, instead of "remove all sigs in UCP":
chamber, can you make this an optional feature? As in, if someone wants sigs automatically spoilered, they can alter it in their UCP, and for those who don't, they'll have them as before?-

I'd be up for this. I'd remove the shit-sig after this happened, to."Animorpherv1's posts are so powerful that prolonged exposure may cause vertigo, nausea, acute tinnitus, and in rare cases, death." - vonflare

And because I can't edit the above (why is thread showing up in New York, anyway? "Board index › Mafia Games › New York"):

I'll remove my game records (moving it to my wiki page), and that should make it short enough.
Thank you for such a reasonable approach to this situation. Not everyone has to like it/accept it, of course, but I like how practical and straightforward you chose to be. <3-

Good thing it'll probably get removed for you since MS doesn't negotiate with sigterrorists..-

You're free to find an argument on this site that I ended up winning. Until then, I hold my point."Animorpherv1's posts are so powerful that prolonged exposure may cause vertigo, nausea, acute tinnitus, and in rare cases, death." - vonflare

I have no idea, but the same thing happened with the F62 Changes thread, and it was annoying there too..-

did you really just make this post
also the idea of making this stupid thing optional was brought up in scumchat before, chamber was unenthusiastic. hopefully now that it's coming from so many people he might pull his head out and wake up to reality
ps the New York thing is a thing that happens with global announcement threads, if you want to edit your posts you have to open GD or something and then click on the thread from there. new york is the forum that it defaults totread softly because you tread on my dreams

I actually understand now. It's showing up on forum #1, which is New York. Probably forum coding feature of some sort that means this needs to be categorized.

Corrected. Obviously it was intended to be tongue-in-cheek, but come on... doing things that are annoying until you get your way is a bad idea..-

In my perfect world, signatures would be able to have zero BBcode (or just bold/italics/underline), but until then: animor how old are you? I might be younger than you, which would make this display even sadder.-

Oh and once you disable BBcode from signatures in UCP, animor's "protest" becomes very bareable.-

chamber, if you're not going to make this feature optional, you might as well just limit the length of signatures to four lines. This feature accomplishes essentially the same thing; it gives users the choice between having their signature shorter than five lines and having their signature be invisible to everyone. It's hardly a choice.
That said, I fully support the intent behind this feature. Just looking at some threads in GD, I saw six people with spoilered signatures, and five of them had more than one thing (quote, game, gtkas, etc) in their sig. If these people had only chosen one thing, their sig would have fit within the limits. Hopefully this feature will get people to limit what they put in their sigs to only one or two things, because anything more is just obnoxious.I am in the bottom 10% of scumhunters onsite!-
