1.) It isn't a stupid idea lambda, many setups have been broken by a day one flavor claim. Mini-themes usually aren't the best at balance. Saying it helps scum more is as baseless as saying it helps town more. But I've generally good experiences at mass flavor claims. And people who suggest it aren't usually,

believe it or not, role fishers, but are town.

Scum are probably much, much more afraid of this than the town is. They need to contend with duplications, and they'll try to pick a role late. But doing so makes them suspicious. This is different from normal games. Role fishing becomes a tool for the town.

WHAT DOES EVERYONE THINK OF A FLAVOR CLAIM?

I never asked a flavor claim. It was all you going: "Guys he asked for a flavor claim!". Re-read the initial post, like I've been telling you for so long.

Between "Ohh look I did this town thing that I said was town!" and the semantic postulate of "Hey, asking EVERYONE what they think about a flavor claim isn't ME asking for a flavor claim" (Hint: if I say "Who wants to shoot carrot in the face until they're dead" it DAMN WELL BETTER mean that I want that to happen) I'm cool.

I was playing along, but I see no reason to not answer the question if Lambda is serious. I just think more purpose would be served if she confirmed her seriosity before I proceeded.

I still can't tell if you are serious. You go in one direction and then the other direction contradicts it.

I'll answer, to be sure. Carrot is fairly obviously scum. If we did, by some chance, have a dayvig to shoot him in the face, it would save us a lynch and allow us to go after Zodiark with that much more efficiency.

On the off chance Carrot is town, we'd still have the majority of the day to assess what needs to be done while losing about half as much tempo as we lose from a mislynch.

Now, presuming you were serious, why do you ask ^-^?

Though, for the most part, I have a strong town read on UK and Drench, followed by Spyrex.

Lets just say from VC alone IF Carrot flipped scum I'd be confident in finding one of the others assuming 3 in (Cityofas, andrew24, Tumescence) and the other in (Zazier, Zodiark, Exilon).

Well, Zodiark was ridiculous. So ridiculous I'm almost in disbelief. First jester speculation and then saying it's fine if carrot were an SK? Why is it not worth the risk to lynch mafia, but is to lynch an SK? That doesn't make sense from a town point of view.

But, to so boldly say something like that doesn't jibe with scum either. It's confusing, really. Hopefully he'll provide some clearer signals.

andrew bugs me as well. His contributions have been sub par.

Out of curiosity, who is this Tumescence? I've never heard of him. This is not a good sign.

As far as I know, the rest of them haven't pinged me either way.

CityofA's vote was suspicious to me. Like... He wanted to disassociate himself from Carrot(especially after Carrot had defended his RQS so hardcore).

If I were a betting woman, I'd go after him if Carrot flips scum.

I mean, if carrot flips town, I see no scum motivation in it. Just a paranoid townie.

But if carrot flips SCUM, and especially a scum with some kind of power... I'd be very interested to hear why Zodiark was so intent on not lynching him.

But turn the chessboard over a little. Carrot was clearly going to the gallows at that point. Why would Zodiark scumbuddy with Carrot scum speak out so vehemently when it was obviously going to draw attention to him? ESPECIALLY with jester speculation?
