Scum killed the non double voter.
Lost in endgame with a double voter in 2 players left. Since the double voter had two votes, he auto won it for town.

This was never revealed, nor does it matter because it says "nothing can prevent". Once day starts, she is auto lynched. And town wins.

If the conditions were met, then they win the game. Period. Everything else is irrelevant.
