Okay, sorry I was out for the last three days, thought i would be out today also, obviously i'm not. I'm inclined to believe Toodle, even though Daredevil has been pretty scummy lately in the comics (being the new kingpin and all) So thats kind of scaring me. But hey, we may not be running on that scenario soooooooo

well, i dont have any extra info, unfortunately. wish i did. but as i was reading through, i wondered who king enigma had protected, and then thought about phoebus being innocent since quailman had made some valid points, but then i saw no reason not to vote him, seeing as he was only one away and i didn't think we were in danger of an endgame, so i was going to vote... but i was beat to it.

Suddenly, without warning, Phoebus spun around, grabbing Quailman and putting a laser blade to his throut. "YOU DARE ATTEMPT TO HARM DOOM?" he screams, his blade ever close to Quailman's neck. Quailman doesn't flinch "Go ahead,bub, try your luck." he taunts, and Phoebus slashes. However, Instead of falling, Quailman laughs, and a familar sound is heard as metal claws extend from his knuckles. Taken by suprise, Phoebus' guard lowers, and caveman uses his psychic abilities to hold him in place. "Your time is up, Phoebus, Give it up." says KingEnigma, enchanting Quailman's claws to cut through Phoebus like butter. Luuluu opens her visor and blows a hold in Phoebus' armor, and Quailman does the rest. Toodle, her super-hearing still hearing gasped breathes, said "He is still alive." Gnome, a slight smirk on his face, growled "I'll finish this." and the ground shook, and the earth qualed, as Doom...died.

Quailman-Wolverine-Wolverine is a mutant with a admantium skeleton, and an accellerated healing factor, but much of his past is a mystery.- Once per game, you may nightkill a player. If you do, you may be nightkilled. Otherwise, your accellerated healing factor protects you from nightkills.-Good

Lulu muumuu-Cyclops-Cyclops is a mutant with a constant energy beam shooting out of your eyes, that can only be control by ruby glass- If you are lynched, the first people to have voted for you will die as a result.-Good

Toodle-Daredevil-Due to a childhood accident, Daredevil has extremely powerful senses, at the cost of being blind.- Once per night, you may use your superhuman senses to spy on a player, gathering infomation of them.-Good

caveman-Jean Grey- Jean Grey are a mutant with amazing telepathic skills.- Once per night, you may to any player by pming me the message, and what you want to tell them.-Good

How did I do for my first board game?

You did well. My personal thoughts are that maybe the Punisher is too powerful. In a worst case scenario where he gets lucky and targets killers on successive nights plus some poor play on scum's part like I must admit happened here, would make this a very short game indeed.

Bah! I knew I should've gone after Toodle. Coulda woulda shoulda...

Well played town. Apologies to scum mates for voting them off. But hey! It's a game...

I must say, holding off lynch for this while, despite the inactivity was gratifying to some extent. See how sad a person I am?

The voting off of your scum-mates surprised me. It's one thing to support a lynch and offer new analysis when one is on the gallows, but you nominated both of them.

Doesn't surprise me that Phoebus would do that. And, yes, the Punisher was a bit too powerful, especially when he can target without worry (as I did) and get lucky (as I did night 1) especially in this situation where if Phoebus hadn't been scum, and Toodle was instead, all I'd have to do is target Toodle, and then it either has to be Toodle dies trying to kill or she has to skip her kill and she'd then just be lynched the next day. It set up a lose/lose situation for the mafia.

All I have to say is...we was robbed.

3 Maf, 1 SK, 8 town, in a game where EVERY TOWNIE HAD AN ABILITY (many of which were better than the "standard" abilities) and no scum did? (Actually, the SK had a decent ability, but got kileld off lucklilly -- in a "normal" game, this would have given the mafia the edge, but since almost every townie had a useful ability, this ended up meaning the maf were doomed...especially with Phoebus voting us off that way (ok, I was doomed from the time I was uber-blocked).

Let's see:

Strange; Immune to night kills (can use ability on others)
Punisher: Supervig (who I didn't realize existed, since I thought we'd killed Venom)
Wolverine: Immune to night kills (can give up ability for a single vig kill)
Cyclops (actually, a town-harmful ability, but a minor one)
Daredevil: Cop
Grey: an actually useless ability (telepath)
Spidey: super-roll blocker (everyone can see who he blocked, so he doesn't have to come out to get someone lynched).
Prof X; Uber-roll blocker (optimal is always to target people with their own ability -- if they're trying to kill, they'll die, otherwise, they'll take minimal harm)

Given this powerful array, the mafia should have had abilities beyond "you're a mafia".

But fun game, everyone!

I agree that this was weighted heavily in favor of the town. Between the Punisher and Spiderman alone, the bad guys didn't stand a chance. And I figured if I could convince the town that I was a one-shot vig I'd last through the game with my immunity to night kills.

It just looks like it favors the town on paper. But the Prof. could hurt more then it could hurt, as could Spidey's. I see it as going either way. If Phoebus hadn't given up both his buddies, the game could have gone alot different.

Cyclops how is it minor? The town would have usually lost 2 townies.
Daredevil: Cop
Grey: Useless? It had use, it just wasn't used.

But thats just my opinion.
