As much as I would agree with Talitha's doc reason, i don't really find that sufficient enough to actually suspect PB. On the otherhand, claiming a role that possibly isn't even in the book or movie while cleverly disguising it in a way that it is insured that no one will have the role, that's a different story.

Before we discard PB's claim out of hand, we should ask ourselves: Is there a more natural character, not yet claimed, who would have limited protection ability? If not, then maybe we should lynch halfpint or KE instead (claimed townie, rather than claimed limited-doc).

That said, PB, it is odd that everyone who has claimed so far has given their character's name, yet you haven't. If you're telling the truth, the mafia know enough about you as it is -- how would "spelling it out" (and preventing your lynch) hurt the town if you really have some protection ability?

Well, chaotic, I do have wonder why you are choosing me over Peacebringer -- we are tied at the number of votes we each have. But if you do lynch me, then you'll see out that you are indeed lynching a townie. All I can say is to definitely look closely at the people that want to get me lynched. I haven't done anything suspicious and there is no reason for me to be lynched .... but people are pushing for me to be lynched anyway. That sucks, but I'll still hope the town wins.

Sorry for the double post but ... if I am going to be lynched I would like to know why I am being lynched. Tactix said that he didn't like that I asked him to share his information about willows -- information that he said he was going to share anyway. I explained why I asked. So, what exactly is the reason that people want me lynched?

I can see why PB is voting for me -- he doesn't want to get lynched. But why FD, Tactix, and JDTAY? Especially you Tactix? I

I have some info on Halfpint that suggests to me that she's likely to be good.

I don't know if I'm going to live through day or not ... even if I do, then I'm not so sure if I will live through the night. Since I'm in danger, I want to elaborate on the theory first introduced by chaotic.

I think it is highly possible that Tactix sacrificed a fellow scum (i.e., willows). Now, this theory really rests of a few things, namely that there is a scum team of 3 (I'm not so sure that they would try this gambit if it was just those two) and the fact that Tactix found PB to be suspicious but is voting to lynch me, especially for such a minute thing that he himself claimed wasn't much.

Now, if you don't believe that Tactix would try such a thing, then I direct your attention to Boca del Inferno, a mini where Tactix was scum and on a team of 3. A self-sacrifice of scum was done there (in fact it was Tactix himself that was sacrificed). Incidentally, willows was the mod of that game. I also happen to

know

that Tactix is indeed clever enough to come up with these types of ideas and implement them as I have seen him do such things.

If in fact we do lynch PB and PB turns out to be scum, then I think that we need to seriously take a look at Tactix tomorrow. Lastly, if PB turns out to be innocent, I don't believe that shows that Tactix is a townie.

2. PeaceBringer must be scum. Otherwise, I'd just vote for him instead of halfpint and move on to tonight.

That means the game would have started with 4 mafia (me, Willows, PB, and JDTAY) AND a SK. Isn't that a little much for a mini!? I don't see how you can think that's possible. And EVEN if it was possible, WHY would I needlessly sacrifice a mafia member in Willow on the first day!? It just reduces the numbers advantage the mafia would have had!

It's not that simple. I find both of you kind of, but not especially, suspicious. (Recall that my original vote on you was by process of elimination.) But if PB is telling the truth and we lynch him, we lose a doc, where as if you are telling the truth and we lynch you, we only lose a townie.

That doesn't mean we should always lynch townie-claimers over doc-claimers, but you do have to factor that in to the process of casting your vote. I don't think my vote suggests poor game sense, even if I turn out to be wrong about halfpint.

Finally, we haven't had a new vote-count yet. It's quite possible my vote doesn't even count, anyway.

In mafia discussion right now, there is a thread going on where someone mentioned what setups were common in a mini game. One common setup that was mentioned was 3 scum + 1 SK. Now remember, this setup was called a

common

setup; there are obviously others that are less common, but could still be used. It is not a far stretch to take the SK away and make 1 team of 4. And why would you needlessly, as you say, sacrifice a member on day 1? To use the defense you are using right now. Your team of 4 might also explain why we have 2 townie investigative roles (if the others are to be believed) and 2 doc like roles (again, if the others are to be believed).

I mainly brought up my point about you Tactix, because if I do not live through to the next day, I want people to know that that they should not overlook you just because you identified scum on day one. For all I know, you could be a SK with power (which again might explain why we would have 2 townie investigators -- if the other two people are to be believed).

Because I did miss the fact that a SK died, I am now tending to believe that Tactix is innocent. Although, I am unhappy with him because he is choosing to lynch me then going after someone who really is scum.
