What?

Peabody is off the table - scum claiming cop there would be an edge case.

I brought it because its one of the only two ways this is lost: I assumed if I was alive today Yates would be dead and one of you two would say nolynch *gasp*

Thats the big reason why I think its garmr - its the only scum out.

I literally have no idea why you'd think I'd shoot Peabody (if I was to shoot anyone it would have been Yates) or why if I was that sure Garmr was scum I'd...lynch peabody?

So, to make it clear: as far as I'm concerned its either you or garmr.

If that's where you stand, I sure prefer it to be me.

I kind of didn't expect you to be alive today. If you had been killed and Peabody along with you, it would have been easy to lynch Yates. If you had been killed and Peabody was still alive, I would have strongly considered Yates cleared because shooting Peabody was clearly the best move for you.

I'm very paranoid about Peabody right now. If you're not willing to go there, there's nothing I can do about it. But I can force a lynch on myself to at least improve our odds.

Seriously, I can't comprehend why you'd consider shooting Yates before Peabody. As I was staring at the closed topic, the realization dawning on me that Ffery was a mislynch, it's the first, most obvious play I thought of and hoped you would do. It's kind of moot now, but what the hell.

Straight up, if Spyrex stand by his position that it's between myself and Garmr, I will only accept my own lynch.

If Spyrex pinky swears that he won't shoot me, I'll support whichever one of Peabody/Garmr I consider less likely to be scum.

No, this is maximizing the town's chance of winning. If Garmr is scum and you are SK, lynching him loses the game. If Garmr is scum and you are town, lynching me wins the game.

If you can't see that I'm obvious town, that's the best odds we have. If you're willing to work with me, those odds can be improved, particularly if you are town.

Actually, no.

There's two scenarios really here and I can't even tell which one you believe if your town:

- You think I'm an SK and this is all jockeying for a scum-SK switchoff which kind of makes sense from the decision to lynch yourself but makes trying to appeal to me not matter at all.
- You think I'm a vig and trying to appeal to my shot kinda makes sense but if you thought this then the whole song and dance wouldn't matter because winning would be easier on lynching scum.

I'm really not interested in rereading this in detail trying to put together a "this is why CTD is town" case.

You convince me that Peabody has an actual real chance scum. With actual concrete reasoning.

Garmr can come in and vote whenever, if Peabody hammers before then I will probably shoot him. If I either get tired of waiting or am unconvinced, I'll hammer.

The day feels like it has hardly begun with a wide port harbor comes into view in the distance.

The Vendetta’s crew already has enough on their hands, but one member rushes up to tell the group that the ship will be taxied to the nearest docking platform within the next hour. Communications was finally able to reach the authorities ashore and fully disclose the homicidal situation onboard while requesting backup. Now you are simply awaiting further instructions.

Nevertheless, the passengers still desire to end this before stepping back on land once again. There’s a part of you that wants to leave all the bloodshed on the ship and wash your hands of it once you leave. Knowing you are close to shore does not relieve you of this burden. So you presses on, deciding they have narrowed down the last remaining suspect.

Except this one is going willingly.
CrashTextDummie
stands before you, insistent that he is today’s lynch. He even grabs the rope and places the noose around his neck. While he does this, he lays out a plan for the survivors to follow tonight and tomorrow.

With a sigh, he steps gently onto a crate that had been placed beneath the noose. He can’t help it; all he can think of are the other countless, wasted corpses that had been littered across the ship. There is still hope for these people. The remaining members tighten the coiled rope’s hold about his neck, making the fibers itch fiercely against his skin.

The group’s faces are set with utter perturbation, but

’s serene nature in the wake of death shakes them all to the core.

steps forward cautiously, preparing to knock the crate out from underneath his feet. The condemned gives him a final look and nods resolutely; there's the cue.

The remaining townies turn their faces from the lynchee’s swaying body to the man standing beside them. They had been fooled, utterly fooled. Their faces betray their shock and horror, but it is simply too late...

When the crewmen make it up to the deck a minute later, the scum is no where in sight. Could he have jumped into the ocean? Could he have retreated, hiding in one of the hundred rooms aboard the ship?

As the harbor rolls closer and closer, the crew begins a search in vain. They know they will never find him. They will tell the authorities about the Vendetta’s madman, how he managed to fool the other passengers while he acted only from his own bloodthirsty impulses – how he managed to escape.

One man emerged as the victor from this bloody carnage. What was his motive? What was his purpose? He alone will live – only to kill again.
