Jake...you need to chill. You pissing off Huntress and insinuating she could be scum is ridiculous. If she was scum the game would have ended by now. And I believe Thor voting PJ puts PJ at L-1 and yet he is still here. I need to digest that.

Thor...you should have voted Jake because from your POV...Jake says he is town and he has cleared both Huntress and I. So Jake is locked in to suspecting both you and PJ as scum. Ie...if Jake is town...you and PJ HAVE to be scum. If you are town...Jake HAS to be scum.

The first scum member was bussed and then a second was voted by the third and left at L-1 long enough to convince the other players that those on the wagon were not partners with the wagonee. Scum won.

That means PJ can not be town. If he was town....fmpov that would leave Thor and Jake as scum and Jake just had ample opportunity to vote PJ for the win.

In retrospect I think you're correct here - I was just really trying to shake stuff up...but I should have monitored more. I got distracted by RL and the gambit didn't do enough shaking.

Really, our stage to win was yesterday when we whiffed the quicklynch. We just were all missing each other by minutes.

Think I'll go back into retirement, now (and it has certainly been a while coming anyways). That game was not a fun in the slightest -- apathetic Town and apathetic mod makes for apathetic scum. I lost interest in this game quite early, but I did not want to put the Mod in an awkward situation by replacing out. I do apologize to mikeburnfire for my lack of enthusiasm, but I was truthful when saying I have long lost my flair for this game. And as I said in-game, I am more than happy to catch up with you out-of-game. <3 I just try to keep out-of-game relationships out of the game.

I could go into lengthy commentary, but I will stick with saying that Jake from State Farm should take a step back and adjust his attitude and how he chooses to play an online

set to text. Whether you like my play near the end of the game is of no concern of mine. I realized where this game was going some time ago (especially after the mess that was Day Four -- a day without vote counts, far too much posting, and a scumteam who was constantly away from their computers), and based on that, my play on Day Five was 100% driven by trying to get Huntress to see (and believe) a havingfitz/Jake from State Farm scumteam. As such, my posts were crafted (with what little time I had) to appeal to Huntress' play. Like me, Huntress does not have loads of time to put into the game, and I was therefore posting largely as a counterpart to the pressure both you and havingfitz were unnecessarily putting on Huntress (who was playing

very

well and taking her time, as she

should

do). The two of you were essentially doing all of my work for me -- the more frantic both of you become, the more mellow I could become, and the more Huntress would be annoyed with both of you. If Thor665 had not voted for me (which only left me with an option of trying to act like I was scum with Jake from State Farm at that point, except I would have to try to lynch Jake from State Farm while seeming reluctant to lynch him...?), it is quite possible Huntress would have eventually sided with lynching you. And a large part of it would have been, I expect, your abrasive personality, your warped definition of "lurking/effort," and your general bad attitude. You don't have to make

friends

while playing mafia, but making people actively dislike you is certainly not going to help you in the long run.

I am not the first person to curse on mafiascum nor will I be the last. People curse all the time, especially in social games. If you have never played a game of monopoly where someone yells "FUCK YOU ASSHOLE" and throws the board up in the air and ruins the game, well good for you because I have seen people do that all the time. I guarantee you that in face to face mafia, people curse also. People curse in Sports, people curse while driving, people just fucking curse whenever they want. so I do not apologize for cursing.

I don't think I went above and beyond and personally insulted anyone to the likes like I have been insulted on this site (being called a retard being one of the nicer things said to me) and if someone thinks they have, they should have pointed it out to me and I would quickly apologize. I admit my mistakes if I go too far.

if you don't like people cursing when they get angry, maybe mafia isn't the place for you. I am an emotional player and I use my emotions to make a point.
