Honestly I'm fairly certain not even the mafia would object to calling this a town win at this point. LoL

so we win?

mattp yesterday is so scummy. the inconsistency from wanting for myself in lylo to not wanting anyone to target, the disappearing when drmyshotgun accuse mafia-noob and when attention switching to drmyshotgun, are so awkward. i almost change my vote to mattp.

"i really want to find MattP scum, but there is absolutely nothing in his ISO that sounds scummy. i'm sad :( "

that's quoted from my night action pm to MoS.

but there is no second guessing so whatever.

the reason I assumed matt was town was because of his claim to not target anyone. I felt scum had nothing to gain from saying nothing when they could easily lie about a target, especially if it wasn't their turn to target somebody.

clearly i need to reacquaint myself better on here. I'm finding that I'm overthinking scum strategies in an attempt to carry over site thought processes. Evidently people play much simpler here and not a whole lot of WIFOM goes on in plays at all. >.<

Eh, I was particularly ashamed of my play anyway so town can have it. I'm just a little bummed it had to drag on several days longer than it should have

Hey MoS.. Is kuribo right? Was pairing off the proper strategy from the beginning?

Any comments on the game?

I fucked this one up. Mafia would've won much earlier if I hadn't constantly forgotten that Paranoid Docs existed. I didn't realize I was being jailed until it was far too late.

I still think cross targetting is a bad idea as it will cause too many death and leave too many possibility for other non-killer roles. CPR kuribo and maruchan would have killed each other if no one target them.

I haven't run the numbers, but that's how I probably would have tried to set it up. I'm not sure I would have directly paired off 1 on 1 (too many N1 deaths from town roles that way), but maybe groups of 4 with pairs of two targeting the same person. That might have helped narrow things down.

The funny thing is, people keep saying, "Oh, it only works if everyone does it."

The thing to remember about breaking strategies is that scum have more to fear from them than anyone else.

Most of the time, that's exactly who's against it.
