well... the catch was that nobody but you could stop the kill. You needed to accept dying. And the second catch is not necessary to reveal

Because that's the problem with this hammer: No sane town votes if they don't actually know how close to a lynch someone is. Or at least think that they know.
But the hammer told us that they did NOT know exactly how many votes I had.
