IA would be good based on role. guyett's right that he's not elusive scum and their posting style will change significantly with the alignment change probably. Which could line up an easy lynch and not really accelerate the point where you can't recruit.

If scarab is 1 time lynchproof then you also get another game day with a recruit, right?

So start of day tomorrow you would start with

Town: No One, Scarab, Pie, BPC
Cult: You, IA

And you should also know what IA's role suggests about a potential 2nd scum presence in the game.

I've wondered if IA is actually a survivor or some such. A militant unrequited survivor would be a seriously bastard role :D

No, at the start of the day you're still alive. You die when I hammer.

It doesn't matter if he sucks as scum, he will die anyway after getting someone lynched.

And lol lover survivor is nicely bastard yeah

Problem I'm having tho is that if sak dies and pie says you weren't targeted and you don't flip cult leader town should know the recruiting happens in the day. Or they think cult started with two members or something. Anyway, if you just die somewhere in the day, that would suck and stuff might turn around onto me.

You might try just posting inthread:
I suicide
when I'm on and then I recruit at the same time.

Yeah I recruit in the day. So I recruit day 3. At the start of it you're still alive.

yeah I was thinking if you recruited first thing it might look like gif just separated the events for some reason, but "I suicide" works too.

I need a reason to suicide though. Being guiltied by sak should be sufficient.

Yeah, I suppose. You think it will not lead to suspicion about day-recruiting and that that's what I did to wis?

It's possible. But, I posted some suspicion about day-recruiting on day 1. And from Wis' play it looks like he was recruited after day 1 ended. So I think there may be thoughts that if there was 2 cult on day 1, I'd be the more likely. Would explain my "odd" vote on wisdom too.

dunno.

Ok, so am I pushing to be hidden behind/investigated? I think that makes the most sense. Sakura dies, I suicide, you recruit?

game is stalling because I won't agree to do my unspecified thing on Scarab.

So my question is this. Is there benefit to me "suiciding" and you recruiting today rather than either me or scarab being lynched? Or can you only recruit once a day?

I should probably know that but meh. Anyway, I think the way this is shaping up, it's going to be me lynched.

I can only recruit once a day.

At least, that's what I think since else I could recruit unlimitedly.

So uh, this replacement will probably check someone. i'm thinking about recruiting them before they get a chance to speak.

IA is less dangerous now he thinks I'm town but he might still be useful because without him getting no one lynched is hard...

I don't know if it's possible.

I just read the thread and pie is in shouty mode. It sounds like he'd consider lynching no one. Talk to him? So would shadedmelee I think.

I did my paranoia post last night. It did seem to shake IA up a little.

I've tried to look like I might be protecting scarab, so not him?

Maybe Pie?

He doesn't like being scum. He's won a couple games, though. If IA is dead he should do OK I think.

And I'm not sure how good you need your next recruit to be given the way your role works. Being able to bus the hell out of your next recruit might be advantageous, especially after a relatively non-contentious game day with me.
