The sky was full of reds, oranges, purples fading to black. The crowd looked around anxiously, desperate to return to their homes before the cloak of night had fallen.

David Xanatos had stood near the edge of the gallows for most of the day. He was distant, perhaps contemplative, though it was truly hard to tell.

In truth, he might have stood near those gallows 'till Judgment Day, had evening not forced the hand of the mob. As the last of the colors faded into greys, Wraith stood and pulled the lever, and even before the last of David's spasms had ceased, the crowd had near fully melted away.

David Xanatos,
Vanilla Townie
, was lynched Day 4.

It is now
Night 4
.
Night 4 will end at 3:00pm EST, November 21st.

We each awoke in our beds, in varying degrees of selfishness glad that we were still alive. We dressed and broke bread, and made our various ways to the town square.

Each turn along the path, we expected to come across a corpse, but continued to find ourselves pleasantly surprised that the streets were bloodless. There were no mangled corpses along the way, and as the procession towards the square increased in size, we evidenced more and more surprise at the lack of tragedy.

For a moment, when we arrived at the square, this sense of solace was shattered, because there was a body before us. But it was quickly evident that it was a monster's body, covered in hair and claws, and after we determined it was quite dead, we were cheered even more as we began to tie another noose.

Oversoul,
Werewolf Tracker
, was killed Night 4.

It is now
Day 5
.
Day 5 will last 7 days, plus the remaining time from Day 4 (6 hours).
Deadline is November 28th, at 9:00pm EST.
Countdown to deadline:
(expired on 2011-11-28 22:00:00)

With 15 alive, it takes 8 to lynch.

Oversoul's "bah" post deleted.

I'm A-OK with crosskills. If the Mafia and Werewolves want to eliminate each other, more power to the both of you.

Emp, I believe you're town, but I'd personally perfer:

Vote: Sorg

I'm getting lazy (Wrong word but do you get what I mean) rather than scummy as an explanation for Sorg. Dry's indiscretions can only be put down to his being scum really.

I'm assuming that's a scumslip and otolia actually isn't scum.

Also, if he acutally

this post, he wouldn't be voting Oto now.

At this point, I'd vote for Dry-Fit if that's the competing wagon. I'd love to have a Wraith competing wagon.

I'm playing in more than one game and a similar slip happened in that game to a townie. I changed my opinion because of that.

Let's see. 25 player game; it depends if you think 6, 7, or 8 total scum is the most balanced thing. I almost think we can eliminate the 7 scum possibility, which would indicate a SK in the setup; and we've never had more than 2 kills at night. So the setup is either 19:3:3, or 17:4:4. If it's the first, it's mafia hunting time, if it's the second, then we've got 1 werewolf running around somewhere. I don't think it's 15:5:5; somehow that seems like a good way for town to get overrun quickly.

Yeah, so were you thinking on purpose or accident?

To me, it looked intentional, and Sorgster was supposed to go into "dead townie death spasms" mode.

Vote: Orversoul

for attempting to contrive a fake lynch on Sorgster

It looks like you answered your own question.

Because any player is going to double check before "taking the word" of another player, unless there is some ulterior motive. Anyone besides the mod tells me I'm lynched, I will be checking and double checking the votes to see for myself. Unless it's in my best interest not too. Like I want to to present a "townie looking death" when I'm not really dead.

And I think Oversoul knows this. So I either think:
Oversoul didn't know he was already voting Sorgster.
Oversoul "faked" a hammer on Sorgster and Sorgster is too stupid or bad of a player to double check.

Since I think Oversoul did know where his vote was, and Sorgster is not stupid, I think there was collusion and chicanery involved, and would really like to hear an explanation that addresses all of these issues before I unvote.

I'm not, it's role related, forget about it.

I'm unsure who scum is, I need to reread a bit as I'm kind of at a loss. I definitely didn't call the Oversoul-wolf.
