I haven't played the red size 30 font game, but that doesn't mean I'm clamoring to try. And for the record, I have played a game where all votes must be counted with semi-colons, and yes, it ended up being a less enjoyable game because of it.

Also, to be saying something, it would be just as well and probably quicker to type

and let the mods count that. It wouldn't be all that hard to find "fuckyou" in a page of shit. If someone wants to tell someone else to fuck themselves, they'll put a space in between anyway.

a) I don't understand why this is a topic of such heated debate.
b) I wouldn't care if the mod of a game needed the ## format.
c) Equally, I wouldn't actually make that a rule myself because it's meant to solve a problem that doesn't even exist, in my opinion.
d) If you're a mod, you should be prepared to such things as search for bolded votes, otherwise I fear that your modding in other departments will be equally lazy

I abandoned this place out of stress about 6 months ago. I let a lot of people down in doing so. I am starting afresh, I will not join more than 2 games at a time and I will definitely not be modding a game in the foreseeable future.

And no, no ##'s, or $$, or any other crap. CTRL+F and hit ALT+A and it will highlight every piece of search text. So if you can't then find the bold, yellow votes in the thread you're screwed.

Right. So you didn't try to distance yourself from an opinion, you just took someone's opinion and passed it off as your own.
This is a terrible idea...Some keyboards don't have a # key, my home one doesn't, and it would be a big nuisance trying to vote with that in place. It's also really not hard to notice bolded votes when modding, from my experience.
