I think that if you want to introduce some scum redirective power, then a new role that just has the "make actions unable to be redirected" without the block protection bit would;
A. Tip off town that scum have redirective abilities
B. Give that neat back and forth of counterplay between town and mafia

Roles
2 Affiliation - Seeker Modified Recluse (Visits another target to check if they have the same concept, adding them to a private hood, but losing this ability if already in a hood; Can not be added to any other type of hood)

Extroversion - Companion (Adds targets to seperate hoods)

Ambition - Flare (Prevents targets from getting redirected)

Deification - Ascetic IC Triggered Treestump (becomes Treestump after decease)

Devotion - Modified Lovebird (Becomes a modified Lover, perishing if the beloved perishes but not vice versa)

Compassion - Obsessive Compulsive Combined Bodyguard Roleblocker

Aversion - Miller

Relation - Parity Cop

Deviation - Deflector

Sedition - Fruit Vendor

Diversion - Redirector

Confirmation - Checker


Notes
  • I'll use the wiki spelling for roles.
  • I'm going to use a variation of .
    • Each scum faction chooses a player at Night to invoke their auspices on, including their own members (though the target and actor can not be the same).
    • Under normal circumstances, the player will be confirmed to be unaligned with the opposing scumteam and be cured from Poison, resulting in a message like
      [Light/Dark] flee from ; They are unaligned with the [
      Benediction
      /
      Malediction
      ]

    • If both scumteams chose the same player or a member of the opposing scumteam was chosen, nothing will happen.
  • They also have a factional Conditional killing ability, which serves as a usual kill if not used on the other scumteam, where it instead works as an Announcing Poisoner.

How does Miller work with parity cop? As a third scumteam or as one of the other 2 or as both?
Why would devotion act if the only effect is adding another way to get themself killed (and possibly a hood)

Miller works as a member of Malediction if targeted on odd nights and a member of Benediction on even nights. I'll put this in the role PM (when I make them).
That is a good point so I might just change
Devotion
to
Captivation - Heartbreaker (beloved will perish with them, but not other way round)
.
And Obsessive Compulsive is forced to choose a target every Night, though they must choose the same target every night until that target perishes, in which case, they must choose another one.

This seems fairly reasonable currently with that change to devotion, probably ready to move into role PMs if jjh has no objections.

I think this now looks fine balance-wise- town winrate should be somewhere beteen 33% and 50%, and it doesn't have any glaring issues outstanding.
