Okay, role claim time.

My role name is Wanderer. I'm effectively a non consecutive night commuter/jailkeeper-that-doesn't-stop-target-from-acting. I used the jailkeep action on DGB last night and commuted myself because I was allowed to use two powers that night. During the first night I used the commute. I did not perform any actions on the second night.

As far as my gift, I still want to hold back on that a little longer. I was about ready to use it, but Bulb said some really interesting things that made a lot of sense to me. I'm not sure if Kat's role fits with this game any more. It's also very troubling to me that he lied to us. DGB, you're really sold on Kat as town?

Since we're massclaiming I'd have to say that I am a Foot of Fate, which is essentially VT. Fate thought it would be fun to troll me it seems. I should have followed my gut and unvoted Reck though no matter how hard things pointed to him being scum (his BS level this game was too high).

I was hoping that we could hold off on the massclaim but well.

I'm leaning RC. While his claim matches with what I expected to be in the game, Nuwen's claim matches how I think Fate would create a protective PR for this game, based on the other town PRs. I'm trusting Staeg to be town rather than SK, because otherwise we're screwed. I'm actually unsure what to make of your claim, because I don't know whether Fate would do that or not. I'm still leaning scum based on PoE.

I'm thinking RC's gift ability is a gladiator ability given the Magic card it's based on.

I think I'm about ready to vote, but I want to hear from DGB first.

After thinking about it last night, there's no way RC can be scum. His role is the only one that accounts for the lack of a kill last night.

@RC: Does your ability still stop your target from performing the NK if they're scum? Why were you able to use both abilities last night?

There's one situation where RC could be scum. I don't think it matters if I say it. The scum team could have no-killed, anticipating a massclaim that they would need a confirmable in (and then claim doctor/whatever). I mean, I've never heard of a jailkeep that specifically DOESN'T block its targets action. RC would need to claim something that didn't interfere with DGB, because it's already been confirmed that her action resolved. Dunno why he wouldn't claim something that fits the scenario more than a not-blocking-jailkeeper, unless jailkeeper was just a given fakeclaim-role.

It does fit with RC not using his gift yesterday though, which I thought made him preeeetty scum-slippy at first (town should be afraid of dying with their gift, like Kuribo was). The commute would mean he wouldn't be afraid of dying.

Everyone else's claims seem pretty shrug-worthy. I don't think the two VTs are scum claiming VT together, especially because the best vig shot is going to be a VT after lynching scum today. It'd be pretty ballsy to walk into a massclaim scenario as scum and not want to be a confirmed role.

I think you're town purely based on how hard Spyspy pushed you. If not for that, I'd be voting for you right now.
If you think I'd bus Spyspy of all people then sure I guess I could be scum but I was going to claim the guilty on him D2 if DGB didn't break it up. WHICH IS ANOTHER THING THAT POINTS TO DGBSCUM

I guess the game would've been over if Staeg shot town, scum successfully killed town, and there are also 3 scum. An attempt to shoot last night = a chance @ winning today vs. having no chance at winning today, but a better chance of winning down the road.

The no-kill play only makes sense if scum knew one of them was caught by the vig.

There's nothing else that could have interfered with a kill besides my bodyguard, RC's claimed jailkeep, RC's claimed commute. I know my ability wasn't triggered.

1. Scum no-kills

2. Scum shoots RC, he can't be targeted

3. Scum shoots DGB, she's jailkept and protected by RC's role
3a. Scum must also continue to RB/redirect/whatever Nuwen after I confirmed having an action Day 2. No one else is claiming a mis-target or blocked action, and I did not protect any kill last night.

How the heeeellll do you TARGET someone else while commuting yourself? Commuters typically can't use actions or be acted upon while commuting, because they're removed from the gamestate. It doesn't make sense for you to be un-targetable and also be able to target another player on the same night.

And last question for Staeg: Are you the Blind Monk, word-for-word? RC is "Wanderer" so that would fit the theme of the way role names are distributed.

thinking about this more, 3 scum matrix:

Spyrex hammers Reck after having a town read on him all game, vig still in the game.
Spyrex assumes vig will shoot him, therefore scum cannot win Day 3. They no-kill (dawn @ 2-6). OR They kill (dawn @ 2-5)

Ya know, if I'm wrong about RC then it's probably spyspy/DGB/nuwen.

Right now I'd be most happy with a DGB lynch tbh and we can work RC out tomorrow.

DGB can only be scum if RC is also lying, which would also probably imply them being scum together. That doesn't reconcile with me because if they were scum together, it would be really risky for DGB to give her buddy a present - what if it blew up in his face, like a suicide bomber?

For DGB alone to be scum -> give RC-town a gift -> doesn't make sense for him to be shot immediately afterwards (accounting for the missing kill) unless RC's reads were the most threatening thing to the scum team (Bulb?). He never really touches on DGB suspicion at all, so I don't think that's where the scum shot for DGB-scum.

If RC is telling the truth, it's pretty likely that DGB was the kill target for scum. She's a source of power. That seems like an open/close book kill if the town's reads are shitty.

Wanting to lynch DGB after there's a missing kill + protect claims is pretty gross tbh, especially if I'm her buddy in your matrix. Staeg is already voting for me. Why aren't you voting for me, if that's your PoE process?
