Calling Bullshit. "He's going out of his way to cast doubt on tex." Lacks contextual evidence or any real substance. It's even more of a 'lashing out' than what you pegged him as scum for.

Note how he doesn't directly call tex scum so if tex flips town he can go "but I didn't say tex was scum, I just said he acted differently from what I remember of him as town". If town!Spiffeh really was leaning scum on tex, he would come right out and say so instead of sniping at him like this.

What do you mean greater utility?

My reasoning against him is unchanged, he was lashing out against tex and I find that scummy.
