Please pay special attention to bolded portions as they differ from the norm!
Rules of Conduct
01. Use common sense. This means no excessive flaming or anything prohibited on these forums.
02. You may NOT communicate about this game outside of this thread unless your role otherwise says so.
03. Do not use invisible text, extremely small text, or any other methods of concealing text.
04. Please bold all votes and mod requests such as
Vote: ShadowLurker
. Even if I see an unbolded vote, I will NOT count it.
05. I will try to post a vote count at least once a page. You may request one by PM
06. Discussion may occur in twilight (after a majority has been reached but I have not locked the thread yet). Twilight ends when I post the lynch scene.
07. Once you are dead, you are dead. A "bah" post is acceptable but please make sure you do not reveal ANY information that may be relevant to the game.
08. If you do not wish to use a night choice, please submit "none." Nights will usually last 48 hours unless a request for an extension is PMed. If I do not receive a night choice, I will assume no action.
09. All questions about your role, or questions/comments related to my decisions should be directed to PM and not in-thread. If I think the answer should be made public knowledge, I will post the question and answer.
Technical Rules
01. Each day, the Town has an option of lynching a person. The town may decide to lynch nobody. A lynch requires a majority of the alive members to occur while not lynching merely requires at least half of the alive members. (Ex. with 6 alive, it would be 4 to lynch, but only 3 to not lynch)
02. After the day phase, the game will proceed to a Night Phase, which will last 48 hours or when all choices are in, whichever is shorter. If I have not received a choice by the time night ends, I will assume you are choosing not to use your action. Prods may or may not be sent out during night.
03. Deadlines may be imposed if the game is lagging. There will be no lynch if a deadline hits and a majority has not been reached. These may be extended, retracted, pushed forward, etc. depending on activity and player requests.
However, each game day has a one month maximum deadline.
04.
The body of all posts may not exceed 140 characters. This does not include voting or FoSing. You may not post more than twice in a row.
Each rule violation will result in a strke.
05. This is Twitter Mafia. I am expecting daily updates about your lives.
A post must be made every 36 hours with the exception of weekends, which count as one day.
If you will be away for a period of 24 hours or more, please inform me in advance. When you near 24 hours without a post, I will prod you. If you do not post for 36 hours without prior notification, you will receive a strike.
06. Once you receive three strikes, there will be role penalties. If you receive five, I reserve the right to replace or modkill you.
