ok I got my readthrough done and it does appear that I haven't missed much... answer to rhinox's question, I 'm not sure if any of the people that were already voting or not- it's very possible but I'm not positive about anything. I would also like to ask how you think I 'overreacted' about the bandwagon- I simply made a comment about it. Did I make a big deal about it? no. Thirdly, although there has indeed been very little to investigate lately, I don't like how xtoxm made a list of his top 3 scum candidates, then failed to expand on his reasoning. Also his generality in his answers seems rather suspicious to me.

Pardon me Mr. high and mighty. I have played this game less than a month and I have seen some strategies that are "out there" to me at first but when explained make a little more since. So, RBT attacked sche and Xtorm defended... to make Xtorm look "definately town". What if sche ends up being scum? does that mean that makes RBT look "definately town"? I don't think attacking a scum or especially defending a townie on D1 is enough to make anybody seem "definately town".

@babygirl: overreaction is a matter of perspective. IMO and in what seemed like the general consensus of the group, L-2 was no big deal and sche was not on the verge of being lynched. You used the wagon to question EA (granted, he did sort of goad you with the "I love wagon" comment) and you sounded worried that it was a possibility that scum would jump in and hammer. Even ignoring the fact that sche was only at L-3, you were overreacting from my point of view because you made L-2 seem like a bigger deal than what I (and I think the rest of the group) thought it was. From your point of view, maybe the group underreatced.

If its not an overreaction, than it could be either opportunism (using EA's vote on sche as an excuse to attack EA) or chainsawwing (attacking EA to try to derail sche's wagon), or maybe you just thought EA was acting scummy, but I still think you made a bigger deal out of L-2 than it really is.

P.S. RBT, is this the chainsaw you were talking about?

I'm inclined to believe the mason claim at the moment, only because I doubt scum would claim confirmed mason with their scum buddy this early. If its ever found that either one of them is scum via cop investigation, death scenes or whatnot, they're screwed.

my theory on l-2 is only because my first game on this site(under a different user name I no longer use) I was jumped on for puting a player at l-2 and was nearly lynched myself for it

I'd like to hear more from orangepenguin. He's been pretty lurky even for this game. There's very little from him that can be analyzed, and his posts almost seem to be trying to create the illusion of contribution without really saying anything. His vote on Xtoxm struck me as weird. (I didn't want to mention this at the time because I was still suspicious of Xtoxm, and I wanted him to explain why he thought OP was scummy.) He left his vote on Schez for a long time, then when Schez questioned the vote, he gave the reasons why the vote was there, but when Schez pressed the matter, he quickly switched his vote to Xtoxm. @OP: What about Schez's post convinced you that he was no longer a good vote?

I get the feeling I'm not going to be moving my vote any time soon.

What you have described is not a scum tell, but a lack of productivity, and lets be frank, there's been a lot of that in this game, mostly resulting from the unproductive players refusing to answer the questions of the productive ones.

Its not the "asking lots of questions" that is unproductive, its the "not really scumhunting" that's unproductive.

Well, having an empty role slot isn't helping town any.

Look at it this way.

We will be killing a 0% contributer.

We have about a 1/4 chance of hitting scum, which is very good. We have a 1/2 chance of hitting a VT. It's meh, on Day One. We have about a 1/4 chance of hitting a pro-town power-role. Now, that's the bad option, but where's the fun if there's no downside? I like these odds.

Infact, the odds are even better when you consider 2 of about 3 or 4 total power roles are already removed by me and RBT's claim.
