Excuse me? That's not why I voted Cent at all, I voted him because after looking back, he stood out in not answering a suspicion pointed at him, and not for the M&Ms thing, but for getting defensive over it.
cent wrote: Ha...i said that just to see who would point it out. So...you guys DO realise that we were TALKING ABOUT M&M'S, RIGHT? I mean seriously fellas... Fos: oslo, and Vote: Vaughn for trying to make my comment about M&Ms into something note worthy.
I feel like the entire thing by Vaughn and Oslo was a joke and everyone knew it, and Cento was trying to turn it into a real reason to look at them. Which I still feel is scummy, but since he responded to what I asked, and I didn't really have anything else to go on after he responded. Right now my vote is on Orbitting because I don't feel a fifth vote is going to hurt the town, because no one in their right mind is going to add a sixth AND a seventh vote and end the day, it only adds to pressure, which I felt that more of wouldn't hurt, and might actually help, it keeps the game in motion, and I see reasoning for it, so why not?

The "Think, what would Space Jesus do?” Vote Count

Orbiting - 5 (ryanjunk, Centoaph, Aureal, Osloboditelj, Medicated Lain)
pablito - 1 (N_lich)
Aureal - 1 (Orbiting)
Vaughn - 1 (chamber)
Centoaph - 1 (Vaughn)
Medicated Lain - 1 (thedocsalive)

Not Voting - 2 (Lenneth, pablito)

Well, one good thing that we are starting to see is interactions between certain players. I think that once "tomorrow" starts, we should have quite a bit of information to work off of. I know that this post probably seems a tad random, but, after rereading some things, it just kind of popped into my head.

I have pretty much accepted that today is going to end at the deadline, which is unfortunate because it takes some of the decision making out of our hands. We still have time to make a clear choice and run up someone without the deadline hitting, I just dont really see that happening.

Ryanjunk, in your vote for Orbiting you mention that Orbiting seemed to be following Oslo's bandwagon, do you think that perhaps this could be a possible scum pair then? I'm just wondering what you think, since you did put the initial vote on Orbiting for bandwagon-hopping.

I thought pablito replaced Aelyn, is N_lich being replaced due to inactivity?

Aelyn told N_lich his(now pablito's) role. So yes, my statement does make sense.

But could we get a vote count?

Well, I can't believe we had a deadline nearly a month in advance, and it's putting some pressure on us.

At the moment, Orbiting would just avoid being lynched, because five out of ten votes placed does not constitute a majority. From my perspective, a no lynch is better than a lynch of someone I perceive to be pro-town. Hopefully there are some power roles who can get us some info at night...

Vote: Medicated Lain
because I see it as the only viable alternative option to an Orbiting or no lynch. Placing this vote is not necessarily to start a bandwagon, but I make this vote knowing that the chance of most votes switching before deadline are close to nil since weekends tend to be slow not to mention this game.

Orbiting has five votes, but one is for herself, so maybe she only has four right now?

I have to say, I really despise the notion of a no-lynch if it's at all avoidable. By not lynching, we end up wasting both our best weapon and our most certain source of information. A suboptimal lynch at least provides some information which can be used to figure out who caused that mislynch, and if it was intentional or not. Thus I'd really rather not no-lynch as long as we have any kind of lead whatsoever.

That said, there are three people I'd be willing to lynch at this point:
1) Orbiting, for reasons which have been enumerated at great lengths, as well as failing to provide any defense or even input for a rather long time now.
2) Medicated Lain, as she jumped on a bandwagon based on bandwagon-jumping, tried to make a mountain out of a molehill by implying that someone
else
was making a mountain out of a molehill, and general bad reasoning for making the Orbiting wagon huge without any new arguments. I think that if Orbiting makes a decent attempt at self-defence, I'd be willing to switch to ML.
3) Any one of our major lurkewrs/content-free posters, as that way we gain information without losing much in the way of conversation and stop any "lurk to victory" shenanigans. Of the lurkers, I think Lenneth would be my first choice, as she stopped saying anything whatsoever after the pressure on her for a mildly scummy act subsided. Of the content-free types, I'd be willing to vote Vaughn due to a large quantity of rather meaningless posts which seem calculated to give the impression that he's participating without actually contributing. I'd still rather lynch Orbiting or ML here though.

I don't see the point in repeating the same points that others have brought up.

I don't think ML's the way to go, and I'm waiting on Orbiting to say something, because she hasn't said anything in her defense since mar 9th.

I apologize for the little contribution, but seeing as how this game is beginning to stall.

unvote, vote Orbiting

We still haven't heard from Orbitting, despite having held 5 votes on her for about a week now. Has she been prodded and such?

Yar
r
. Sorry about the no-posting. I ceased to get my notifications from the site for some reason. Have been caught up now.

I expect that you'll lynch me anyway, but I enjoin you not to do so, since my role does have some limited use to the town, if you'll let me have a night-phase. I'm willing to role-claim if necessary, since my role is one that would obviously be included.
It's better to be lucky than skilled, surely. However, it's a lot easier to be skilled twice than lucky twice.

Well, we did get short extension, so we may as well put it to good use. I don't know enough about the subject matter to know any roles that would be obvious inclusions, but it shouldn't be too difficult to check on it anyways. I for one think claiming would be in your best interests, but since we have a little bit of time, waiting for the others to wiegh in on it is a good idea, provided people can check in in a decent time frame.

I agree that a claim is in order, now that we have some time to hear it and evaluate it. I still don't think that she did anything extremely scummy, but apparently some others do.

I'd also like to hear from Kelly Chen, who is just stepping into the thread. Maybe a new perspective will help us move along, and point out some posts we may have missed the first time around.

I suppose it depends on what Orbiting has to say, but I think there's a lot of characters that could be considered 'obviously included.' Remember, the mafia have been provided with safe claims, so I'm rather skeptical that we can make much out of a character claim.

Ah, thats true, I forgot about the fatc that the scum have safe claims. Well, even so, claiming before you get lynched is better than not claiming. We'll just have to keep in mind that it may be a fake claim, and judge it from there.

Hi. I read the thread once, but I'll read it again now that I'm /in and it matters.

I can think of seven characters, where I'd be surprised if they aren't in this game. They're probably obvious, though...

I think Space Mummy must be a villain in this game. Topato won the blingidium statue from him, and when the Tinkle family digs it up (right?), Space Mummy destroys it. http://wigu.com/archive.php?date=20030618
