We have narrowed the suspects down to you nine, but due to some stringent budget cuts, we can't continue the investigation. So, instead, we are posting a guard outside this door with orders to not let anyone out. We expect you to find who commited this crime and...act accordingly. Please knock twice on the door once the perps have been eliminated. Thank you, and goodbye."

Rules
Inspired by ME!
Day deadline: Each day will last 4*living players.
Night Deadline: 72 hours, non-negotiable. I open the game once I have all night actions in.
Concerning Extensions: I give 24 hour extensions for each replacement.
Vote Counts: I will provide vote counts daily or if not that, once a page. Any flavor in the vote counts means nothing, so don't even start that type of WIFOM.
Regarding Voting: In this game you may vote each day to choose a player to lynch. To vote, post in bold Vote: <player>.
Twilight: Once a majority has been reached for the lynch, the day will end and all votes will be locked. Then the voted player will die.
In the case of a tie: I will extend the deadline 24 hours and all player not voting for the two players in the tie will be unvoted and may only vote for the tied players. If at that time there is a tie, then the day will be a no lynch.
Lynching: The day ends with a No Lynch if half the town is not voting for a single person at deadline. Yes, I mean half the town, not 50%+1.
Death: Once your dead, your dead. You have one more post, but no game-info can be included.
Discussion of Game: You may not discuss the game outside this thread unless your role specifically says so. If you can, you may only discuss at the link listed in your PM. You may have a rant buddy, pending they are not in this game or never have been in this game.
Night: Do not post at night.
Edits: If, through being a listmod or something, you can edit posts, don't. However, I may edit whatever and whenever I want.

The "Just in case" clause: I may change these rules whenever I feel like it.
God-like?: Although I am an ancient Planeswalker dragon, essentially a god among men, I am fallible, so please tell me if I have made a mistake and I will attempt to rectify the problem.
The "Back-Up Mod" Clause: In case I am unable to continue modding, I will find a back-up mod and they have the right to change these rules to however they see fit.

Hi all. I am one of the ICs of this game. Once the mod declares the game open, I will be happy to answer any question regarding the game that you all may have. Basic things that I consider important:

- I am another player in the game. I have just played a few games. My views of the game are not "truths", just a bit more experienced opinions.

- I will try to help you, whichever my role in the game is. To help with this and whenever possible, I will try to separate my opinions on other players from my "advice" as an IC. You can also help by addressing more formal or theoretical questions with a formal way (@ICs, or something like that).

- Games in MafiaScum are slow. Be patient. Take it easy. We enjoy the game, and the game mostly consists of writting during several weeks to have opinions on who the scum is.

- It is a game. We can be kind and also a bit funny. Do not take very deeply opinions of other people. Mostly, they are opinions on your play, not on you (and many of them can be misunderstandings, different perceptions or even false in purpose!!) . Do not feel offended, we are just playing while trying to understand other people.

- Try to be active, whichever your role is. Below some level, being inactive makes the game uninteresting for everyone. Above this level, feel free to act as you think your role, your strategy, your mood, your life advices.

- New players might feel insecure about how to participate and play. Do not worry, this is a learning game. We all have to learn. Just find whatever is interesting in the game, start to participate with all of us and enjoy !!
