Well, to be honest I picked korlash because he's annoying and stupid, and seeing as there are only like 4 players in this game whose play I respect and whome is not one of them, no I do not mind. I still prefer korlash though,

Why? "Excellent" does not imply non-fictional. Nor does it imply "good guy." Nor does it imply "alive."

I myself excpect certain great names to be in here, a couple from well known animes, shows, and movies. Along with real life people. Look at the storyline intro, K Fed= Not Fictional, Ivan Ooze= Fictional

well, there is a little bit of reasoning in my position. I know I am town, and I also know I am non-fictional, but I agree we do not yet have enough info to conclude that all town are non-fictional.

must admit i hadn't spotted the Ivan Ooze thing. That does blow a huge whole in that line of thought. Whereas "Excellent" doesn't imply non-fictional, "People" does. The smurfs are not people. He-Man is not a person etc etc, but the inclusion of a power rangers villain in the intro makes it clear that non-fictional is on the cards.

We had the joke claim thing, which is a mark against right there, when people called on Thanatos to explain, Lloyd jumped in to anwer for him. Then throughout the day Thanatos was defending Lloyd in the face of his wagon, and didn't even vote Lloyd after he gave up.

So heres what I think about the role. We accept it for now, and continue on with whatever. Once we get another candidate to L-2/L-1 or whatever we have Guard try to kill them. To me it fits with the role, the movie, whatever. Guard, I would chck with the mod (if you really are Rico that is ) about if it means you can only vig people at L-1. That is the equivalent of about to die so shoot me so the bugs don't get me blah blah blah.

So we get another candidate to L-2 or thereabouts, and we don't ask for a claim, we just set Guardian on them? That is BS, I'm notliking you or guardian at the moment. Anyone else think this is a good plan?

funny that, because I think the same of you. The only way I could see your role making sense, would be if you were paired with someoneelse, and they incapacitated people, leaving them vulnerable to a kill, but this seems just a tad complicated for a one shot.

Siddartha Gautama - Postponed Omniscient If I survive until Day 5 I get to see the alignments of remaining players. I was also warned of a handicap. I was not informed as to what it was..but I feel it has something to with with Battlemage.

Not sure what to think of this. It would be a good fakeclaim, because if it is true it means we want to keep you alive. Why do you think your handicap is Battlemage related if you were not given information on it?

Given the length of history and the number of players in this game, and knowing the one confirmed excellent person so far - Jack Sparrow - I think it would be relatively safe claiming almost anyone. The chances of you hitting an actual role one of us has is small.

I had this thought myself, but then I thought excellenfe is subjective, and when I checked them out on google, their sales figures were impressive so who knows.

My question would be, the lyrics you quoted as being the reason your character can discern peoples roles, was a song about them showing the shape of their hearts, not seeing the shape of someone elses, which didn't quite ring true with me.

That said, I am leaning towards believing Dizzy's claim, as it would be a poor fake claim in the long run, as we will now be pestering Dizzy for info every day, and if it is a fake claim this will soon become apparent.

Panzer has done a good job of making me wonder if they were both telling th truth, but I am in the Panzer scum camp at the moment for the following reasons.

When Dizzy first said "Battle Mage" Panzer instantly changed tack and unvoted. Then after a delay we got the claim. I think the delay was because Panzer was constructing a claim. I think his role name is indeed Battle Mage which was why he instantly changed strategy when Dizzy called him on it. The following posts about a role handicap that may be something to do with battle mage did not ring true. If he were truly some kind of role cop miller I think he would have known this and would have been able to say so explicitly when he claimed.

I don't believe it is overpowerred with a miller handicap. Because Day 5 is a loooong way to go, especially when your outted day 2. I have to not catch a night kill 3 nights in a row. The miller thing matters a whole lot, cause there can be multiple cops in this too.

I've already voted for him. My vote is staying there no matter what. So it's up to you (as in, the rest of the town) to finish the job. Besides, I'm already thinking like a dead(wo)man walking. Outed Cops don't tend to last the night.
