In defense of jitsu, I also read "arbitrary" in the "random" sense of the definition instead of qualities attributed to say, an "arbitrator."

Is this a significant mis-categorization? Is there something I've missed?

Your points in order:

1. The first page? Most of us would think you took an extra-large suppository.

2. Overanalyzing possible day abilities while there is absolutely no mod input seems a bit preemptive.

3. This is perfectly reasonable, albeit, again, somewhat early.

However, I'm of the opinion that the controversy stems from being a bit overzealous. Whether this is pro-town initiative or anti-town gambit remains to be seen.

Okay, I used the dayvig as a catalyst for discussion. I used Jitsu because we were in a game together (in fact, I protected him one night and stopped a NK that allowed us to win the game). Jitsu did very little.

I think you have your facts a little mixed up. In Mini 518 (Underground Mafia), the game you refer to, GunslingerKB protected me and blocked the NK on me N2 before resigning (see post 1313). You replaced in for him early in D3. You did choose really well on your two protects N3 and N4, but you did not block any NKs. Did this slip your mind?

As for my role in that game, people can read/skim it and decide for themselves, if they care.

I wasn't aware that I was signing up for "DayVig Joke Mafia". I wish someone would have told me.

I guess my reason are more intuitive than anything, but Oman's posts so far just make sense to me. If you are town and you are trying to get things going, that is one way to play that I find perfectly acceptable.

Xyl did not read the game correctly and was disseminating incorrect information about my actions.

I responded in my own way (I was a bit overemotional, and it was a bit uncharacteristic. I apologize for the undue tone I used. It was heavyhanded and I do not want to hurt anyone's feelings for a game).

I am neutral to the opie wagon. It seems in many games there are times when overreacting or overreaching is misconstrued or worse, manufactured. Then again, Adel makes a few good points, so I am not dismissive of the possibility.

TrustGossip - I laughed when he voted Xyl and nobody followed him. His comment about Adel in 117, followed by his vote for Xyl in 119, make me think that TG believed Adel was setting a trap for someone to follow her in with a "too townie" argument, so he was trying to get town points by jumping on Xyl first. Nobody else followed, and he just kind of dropped it quietly and then unvoted 80-odd posts later. Later sniping could be distancing, too. IGMEOY.

I was wondering what TrustGossip was smoking to lead to post 119. That explains a lot.

Getting town points and pointing things out and getting frustrated with lack of acknowledgement are two different things. I got snipy at Xyl because it took him about five posts to actually figure out what he did wrong. In addition I don't really know what he's doing trying to be so overeager to analyse other people's numbers that he gets them wrong in his analysis. I stopped posting at Oman's request and because I would rather not make the same mistake. I also think the current opie-Guardian-Erg0-etc. conflict is not based upon anything notable.

If you want to lynch me for perhaps hoping on coasting to Day Two then proceed. Xyl is incredibly annoying anyways.
