Welcome to Thespival Mafia! Here are my rules of mafia I expect we adhere to for fun and fatality.

Standard Rules

• Votes must be in bold, preferably in the format of
  Vote: Person
  . If you do not bold your vote, it will not be counted. Please be attentive and
  unvote
  , if necessary, before casting a new vote. This is not required, but I’d appreciate it. You wouldn't want to anger your host, now, would you?
  
• Lynchings will require a simple majority of votes. Once a player has reached the necessary majority, his pleas are useless and any attempts to unvote will be unheeded. You may
  vote: no lynch
  – majority votes of this kind are necessary to end the day without a death.
  
• The game is not to be discussed outside of the thread, before or during the game by its participants, unless your role specifically states that you may do so.
  
• Once your death scene has been posted, you’re dead. Stop typing. Not even a “Bah!” post.
  
• Don’t edit/delete previously submitted posts. You shouldn't be able to, but just in case.
  
• Don’t quote or paraphrase any PMs from me. You should be able to pretend in thread that I'm not a part of this game outside of this thread, other than necessary nightchoice responses, if any. Don't even refer to my responses (or lack thereof).
  
• If you have a night choice to make, it is due by the posted deadline. I will not wait for you – if you do not submit a choice to me, tough! No choice will be made.
  
• If you anticipate being unavailable for more than a 48-hour period, please post a notice to that effect in the thread. Treat this game as a commitment. I will try and be fairly active with prods, and will gladly accept prod requests from players for other players, either in thread or out of it. Be considerate – don’t leave us hanging.
  
• Remember, it’s a game. It’s supposed to played. It’s supposed to be fun. Do your part.

Supplementary Rules

• Players who do not post for 96 hours without notice will be replaced.
  I do not expect to make exceptions to this, so please keep posting.
  
• Each day will have an automatic 3-week deadline. I will remove the deadline only if there are 5 or fewer players. At a deadline, a simple plurality will be sufficient to lynch a player, using longest-held-last-vote as a tie-breaker. If there are any questions about this, please ask and I will be happy to clarify.
  If players plead for a 72-hour extension, I

  grant it once per daycycle, but I will

  not

  grant it if there are only 24 hours remaining until the deadline.

like "mr. gnome-it-all"'s I dont really care about this game I only replaced to get someone to replace in my game.

On the whole, I'm pleased with how the game went. There were a few things I would have done differently (I would have posted a link to the cards in the first few posts, for one), but by and large I think it went well. I was impressed with both mathcam and Holy in particular, and I was incredibly impressed with petroleumjelly's keen analysis of my modding principles (which I need to codify in case I'm modding a game which PJ can't provide insight into my theories). The mafia led the town around by the nose and almost had a flawless victory, before tailspinning into some perilously dangerous territory, before pulling it out. Holy also nearly single-handedly took out the mafia by herself.

I'm interested to hear what everyone else thought of the game. Comments? Concerns? Rants? Raves? I welcome feedback.

If Holy wasn't lynched on the last day, would she have won since she was immune to mafia kills?

Both would have won, since both achieved their win conditions simultaneously. (Nothing could prevent the SK from being the only one alive at that point, and the mafia would be at 50% at that point.) I know I adjudicate that differently from the Jester-lynch happening (which would have been Jester 1st, Mafia 2nd if the town lynched the Jester at the same time that mafia achieved 50%), I can still live with myself anyway.

I'm not too pleased with there being a Werewolf in the game, when the first posts go over in very explicit detail about the possible factions in the game -- which only include Mafia, Jester, and Town. There should be a tiny clause like "there may be other factions in the game" or "there might be other win conditions" if you are going to do something like this.

factions, but your point is understood. I hope you didn't hate your role too much.

NK immune or invetigative immune - the only "benefit" your role had was that if you died, Iammars died. (Hence Holy being able to win if Mizzy had been lynched.)
