I, for one, hate the "traditional" supports. Such cockblockers and they help players (especially adcs) continue to be bad players and not pay attention to positioning or laning. No other lane gets a special treatment of heals and shields and exhausts.

Lol you already know the "support" is gonna either be broken in all other 4 positions and then gets nerfed over next few patches or gonna be total garbage like on release bard.

Ok but Wazza there's been just as many times where reddot's been wrong. You act like you've never heard of the "reddit knows balance" meme. Do you remember the patch where they buffed rylai's, liandries, and spellvamp? The entirety of pbe and reddot were calling for rumble and vlad nerfs because they'd be mega op. Turns out their winrates lowered accross the board. Lets not forget that people thought Kindred was garbage on release and went straight into a meta dominant position a month later without buffs.

There's at least two stories where they posted a nerf or buff in the patch notes; but forgot to apply the code, and the complaints on reddit were intense. "Vlad feels like shit now" etc etc

the issue is that isn't how people in solo queue play him. and braum's job is different.

Just not the same people you listen to.
this. look at how they handled the cho changes - they thought they were too radical to put on the PBE so they held back until they refined it. if they didn't care they would have put it out anyway

It really depends on what elo.
In high elo, like anything diamond above, Ivern probably top 3 jungler still, even though I barely seem him anymore.
In anything lower than plat you're better off playing literally any other jungler.

i think you're wrong, but of course low elo statistics are sparse
You can't take the bronze "imma carry" mentality into Ivern. You'll die. A lot. Ivern plays very differently than most every other pick. You're basically playing a second support.
