I would argue you did it to look like you were hammering, have him make some bullshit "I'm le dead" posts, and then come out as a townread for some who then allow Gamma to be pushed through. This would save a scumbuddy and make you look like you goaded a genuine reaction, making you both more likely town and a less likely team.

Town doesn't do this imo. Town trusts their own reads first and finds real evidence.

Town doesn't downplay their scum read and calls them lynchbait regardless of alignment. Lynchbait is only town. Scum can't be lynchbait cause the point is to lynch scum.

I haven't really seen much from Aris that I look and see that's towny but to be fair that's very little I've seen
Gamma's whole "scum was pushing on me so I'm clear" really pinged me the wrong way it felt like he was just trying to call us morons for pushing him instead of understanding why were pushing him it's his auto defense line

you say you haven't seen much from Aris which is fair, but the same could be said about you and gamma. not contributing doesn't equate to scum, or else you would be scum reading yourself
Gamma's point about fitz pushing him is very valid and to disregard it doesn't show a good townie mindset imo.

Out of everyone alive, the person who's play stands out the most is josh. If both he and I are alive in lylo, I don't see how I can ignore his 180. It is very damning imo.

I am not sure of my read on you. mainly because I have been so blinded by pushing the people I have scum read, I have to go back and read your posts and interactions. I also have to go back and look at who was on the wagon pushing your slot day 1, but since your slot was almost lynched, I think that you are probably town. I think it is a shame that creeps replaced out cause I liked him better (no offense)


I just can't wrap my head about how when we are at a stage where a scum lynch really helps town out, he downplays his scum read on empking and instead pushes for somebody who to me is an obvious mislynch using the dead people as the reason.

that doesn't feel town to me. That feels like scum really trying to prevent his buddy from being lynched.

early on in the game it doesn't matter how hard you push somebody if they aren't going to be lynched. I don't think vedith's slot was ever a threat to be lynched day 1 so as scum you can hard bus like a mother fucker and get away with it. That's called distancing.

Later in the game when push comes to shove and the game is potentially on the line, you back away from that same scum read and push somebody else, that raises red flags for me, especially when the person you backed away from was actually scum.
