I apparently heard about the last from last sale or the one before, it's on my wishlist somehow. I'll have a look at the others!
Surrender, imagine and of course wear something nice.

I bought life is strange last sale... I'll be honest, I got bored and whilst I will go back to it as I was more than half way I have no particular inclination to do so. Ori is on my wish list but I've not yet completed similar games so not sure if I can be bothered

I dunno. Mount and Blade: Warband gives Stardew Valley a run for its money for that award. I've sat down for a sitting and then realized 13 hours later I haven't even taken a break to pee for both games.

I've had Stellaris for a while and it's the best concept with the most fiddly annoying execution I swear

Early game exploring with like one or two science ships and finding anomolies everywhere is awesome but once you've got a big chunk of the galaxy mapped out it's manually upgrading everything you own one level at a time and then manually choosing which galaxies you missed or had space monsters in it that you've since cleared out or systems you've blown up stuff in to have all the science ships analyze the debris

AND THEN YOU FINALLY HAVE A WAR and the main battle is over in 30 seconds and then it goes back to tediously going from planet bombarding it and then sending troops over there to take it until you have enough warpoints to get the things you asked for at the start of the war despite that it's maybe two planets of the 5-6 you've had to occupy to actually get those points and then the rest go back to being owned by whoever you just attacked for 10 years until the truce ends and you can attack them again

If you lose a war or are in a war with someone who has a strong ally you have to account for it's a little better since you have to actually plan stuff out and protect one or two planets on the outskirts of your empire too and be ready to run if their main fleet shows up but...man it's just too big with not enough interesting things to do.

These new sprites are... something. (I'm still waiting on the second half.)

I hate paying for games I don't play, so these sorts of sales make me super-ambivalent about paying attention to them :|

First bought DOOM which is on a great sale, but I couldn't get it to run at 60 so I refunded it

Then I tried Batman Arkham Knight. Same story.

Ended up buying The Witness since I can get that to run at a smooth 60. Looking forwards to it!

Have you seen all of the interviews? There's a turning point you need to reach before the narrative starts to click.
