this game is freaking cracking me up and I can't stop laughing. I don't know the set up or anything, I am just watching the thread and I find it funny how the vets are interacting with the newer players and it is just hilarious. I love watching how d1 in games plays out but this 1 is just really funny.

so the reason that I started spectating this game is cos camn is in it, for a cple of reasons. I have heard that she is incredibly good but mainly cos I have not been enjoying mafia lately and have just been feeling introverted, depressed and cranky in games and I want to find the enjoyment and fun in it again. so I tried to remember the last time I truly enjoyed mafia was when in I got into a gif cupcake war with the cupcake/camn hydra that lasted for a cple of pages and it was just so much FUN, and it had me laughing the entire time. so my hydra vigged them. they didn't die tho and were town.

so much fun. so I am following her around hoping that I can absorb some of her charisma and lightheartedness through osmosis and lose most of the emotionalism of my own playstyle. I am hoping to learn from her.

having said that I can see why toog thought that I fearkilled her n2 (I don't do fear kills, I do lulz kills). I guess it cld be seen that way, just not in the "OMG CAMN IS GONNA CATCH ME AND I AM SKEERED" kind of way. it was cos she has this way of engaging that worms her way into my heart to where I don't want to hurt her, and while she is picking off my scummates 1 by 1 cos sometimes they feel the need to breadcrumb their role to me cos they think that I have forgotten for some reason, I am sitting in a corner, rocking back and forth sucking on my thumb saying, "don'th huwth camn, lynth me I am teh sthcum" over and over.

I am defenseless against that kind of charm. its a powerful weapon.

spyrella is a super duper fun player too. this playerlist is just fantastic.

oi! IaI is also another 1 of my favourite players and who i have mad respect for. I have a story about him too, lol. he was a traitor who fakeclaimed cop and ap and I convinced ourselves that there MUST be a framer involved cos IaI looked so town.

I've seen a good few scum neighbours/neighbourizers. I always find it odd when people discount the possibility.

In fact, I've been SK neighbourizer before!
One should never discount these possibilities!

I remember the time guy designed a game where 2 neighbours who flipped as such and were the only 1s in their hood.

I don't think that particular thing was ever repeated but the site has a long history of scum being neighbours/neighbourizers.

it is so freaking weird to commit to spectate a game and watch it fall into apathy and still watch and feel like a part of the process only because I was invested in the game itself and how some individuals play and not rooting for a particular alignment.

really? I have been seen lots of them. i have also been in games where scum were lynched everyday. in larges.

but I have seen/been in lots of games where scum was lynched d1 and then town turned on each other.

fate is a member here and used to be a part of what was called "the screaming death clan" along with kuribo, reck and a few others. nacho was part of that so he can tell you more. its funny cos while fate is all fire and brimstone on the forums but he is 1 of the sweetest most laid pple I have ever met.

the meta argument that camn and magna are having has to do with camn saying she hates a certain of play and magna is all like I do not believe you and camn feels she has proven it when magna doesn't think she has. I feel like the argument is a clash of playstyles more than anything else. I had the same problem with magna when I played with him but I really enjoy him as a player. varying playstyles are just hard to work around IMO cos neither person can see how the other person cld be thinking what they are thinking. I think this is the heart of most tvt conflicts. it is hard in the heat of the moment keep that in perspective tho.

and yeah pple don't seem to be fans about doing readslists anymore. I find it hugely beneficial tho.

At this point in the game, were I playing, my top 3 scum reads would be SpyreX, Dunnstral, and MoI.

Interestingly enough, I have thought to myself multiple times "I hope Dunn and Spyre win this one" only to remind myself that Socrates is the other scum.

Although I'd certainly be hammering LLD and Socrates since they have been some of the lower content people, so that might change things.

I don't even know why I scumread Dunnstral. I just feel it.

dunn really isn't doing a whole lot to clarify the game or much to move it forward to a town win.

pissy isn't doing ANYTHING to help town when he is conftown. that to me is the biggest contributor to why town loses IMO.

my heart goes out to the town players who are actually trying and keep getting scumread for it.

I think that the general protocol is to leave the vote in place but extend the dl until a replacement is found, that way it leaves the game in the players hands and intact.

altho if camn gets hammered before a placement is found I think the hammer is a done deal and a replacement won't be needed. I think that is how it works.

and lol, FATE'S PLAY. you trying being scum against him in a f2f game with him jumping up and down on the sofa screaming at the top of his lungs "MOLLIE IS SCUM!!! SHE'S SCUM LYNCH HER!!!" with a straight face. I mean I tried to hold it together for as long as I can but then I burst out laughing. I was lynched in a game, of at least 15? 20? it may even have been more than that, in under 5 seconds. I laughed so hard I had tears coming out of my eyes.

pissy has won scum MVP again I guess. also lying as town is the new site meta I mean I don't even like it as scum even tho it sure furthers my wc. its why I am limiting my games.
