Claim is unforced, in my opinion. Reading context, yes some people want Grey lynched, but there's no "Hey it's L-1 or L-2 let's get the nails in the coffin". It's a shit claim too. "I'm a confirmable PR".

Possible claims for morons:
1) vig
2) IC
3) 1-shot cop (after use + flip)
4) Jailkeeper (after prevention of an action; only makes sense to confirm this with a tracker, maybe a vig)
5) Tracker (only confirmable with outright claims)

So he's saying he's one of the first three. Surprise, this is even easier to figure out if you're the scum who chose the power roles!


So why is this relevant? Makes some dummy (particularly the IC, if existing) us their power / claim. Great, free scumkill on a confirmable town. Oh and you can't go back to say Grey is scum now, because oops, they were talking about being the vig/cop/other even (pick one).

It's a shit move as town, and is out of context with grey's play.

On TB's claim: probably real, but I scumread him for play. It's sorted out tomorrow though, and is low-priority for me.

As for why I doubt the IC possibility on grey, the move makes a ton of sense to me as a scum motivated post as opposed to a town-driven or bad post.

If you're the 1-shot cop, claim, and counterclaim, have a clear case of "one is scum, one is town". One town for one scum is a good trade, and is an acceptable way to use it. On the other hand, your reaction to his claim and how you've talked about it since does not scream "I want to counterclaim this".

How do you feel about Think posting at 1030 am saying he would fight the case later, while sitting at l-2. Then 6 hours later, after not posting anything else he comes in and says that since he is at l-2 he'll claim.

1a) You're a town cop. You don't CC scum TB who claimed cop. You get killed at night and don't get to use your action because that's bad play for scum to let you use your action and have it confirmed by flip.
2) You're a town (not cop). CCing is not relevant.
3) You're a scumbag. CCing only puts you in a 1v1 which is bad for you.

That is what I mean. If you can CC, you should. If you cannot CC, it's not relevant.
