My views are similar to Fen's in that I've been enjoying all the reminiscing on past games, and the write-ups are often great.

I'm unavailable between the 3rd and 16th of Jan, but otherwise I'd be very happy to help out with this. I'd just need to read up on a couple of the recent games.

Haha yeah. Okay, so. Xalxe will be taking Ani's spot. Also, yeah I totally know I am SO BEHIND. Figuring out what to do about the Ani slot was one thing, but finishing up Medevac, prepping Nexus, and running Clash is a whooole lot of modding. And a whole slew of other RL things have kept me a very very busy xoffy. SO, hopefully a cut will happen sometime very soon, but that all depends if it calms down here long enough for me to have the time tonight, may have to be tomorrow from me, but the ones after could.

Since this concept of "dying" is brought up, I'll say that I'm honestly not as committed to this as I should be, and I have a ton of past game reading to do, but I still think this is a great project so I'm just going to be super Neutral Box person here and say that I'll stick around if this continues, but I won't be too phased if people want to let this go.

I'm also not really knowledgeable enough about all these past games yet to suddenly fill out a huge list and jump straight to the Top 100... unfortunately.

We could've made this a little easier on ourselves by omitting mushroom kingdom. I can only take reading whole games every so often and I miatakenly used up one of those fucks on it.

I think it'd be pretty easy for people to pick out characters they remember or think are memorable and narrow down the list from there. once we get to the top 100-150, yeah, then it becomes more competitive and it can probably yield to better picks, more engaging results, etc

I think I also remember someone mentioning it would have been better for just the past two years worth of games.

Which I think possibly would have worked better. Let's do this again in two years with DBZA games onwards.

If we want to finish off this one quickly (hurry it up to top 100), we just need someone (more likely many people) to post information about each of the older characters newer people don't know anything about, and then vote on that. I think it would still have a recency bias, but it would enable some past peeps to survive a massive cull.
