Phate even if all vanilla's were lettuces, how the hell would scum have known that. I can't find where the mod posted an example vanilla role pm. So your post about lettuces essentially boils down as scum guiding.

2 scenarios
1. he is a vanilla (lettuce)
he has given scum information about the town set up
2. he is scum worried about the thought of a mass claim and has tried to give a strategy to the other scum. OK a very bad strategy given dragons rebuttal.
Now i lay it out tho, it seems obv that we are looking at scenario 1. I don't like the reveal he has forced, but i have to think he is town, unless we are waaayy into WIFOM territory

my first thought was that it was scum guiding. I was asked to explain this. When I thought it through more in order to articulate what I meant, I decided that the most sensible explanation was scenario 1 rather than 2, and whilst i think it was an incredibly anti-town move by Phate, I think it was an anti-town move by a townie. If he were scum and had said all vanilla's are lettuce, that would most probably get him lynched then and there, because of the high likelihood of the statement being plain wrong. I now believe that he is indeed a vanilla townie with the role name of lettuce, so i have unvoted. This obviously means that I also believe dragon's claim at this moment of time.ryan wrote:WhoMe?: Can you explain your vote (for reasons that I have to admit made sense to me) and than an unvote and you saying he's a townie just two posts later?ShowAs Town: 3/8

the only way you know the scum don't have a safe claim is if you are scum. You know what, maybe that every vanilla is a lettuce thing really was a huge misuse of a scum safe claim

by the definition of safe claim i explainedonly scum (and the mod) know whether or not they have a safe claim. So you knowing this amde you scum. its not just the safe claim thing. First was the all vanilla townies are lettuce, which has been counter claimed already. What I am wondering is if Scum were given lettuce as a safe claim, Phate has misunderstood thinking that this means all vanilla are lettuce and this is what caused the situationthinktank wrote:encrypted claims are not viable, i agree with Y that they are not in teh spirit of the game. Unlike a lot of people i will give Phat ethe benefit of the doubt that he didn't know what the safe claim was and its definetly not enough to vote him. True its scummy but considering he admitted he didnt know what it was and his join date implies this as well, I don't think he has enough strikes on him to lynch as ryan stated.
But seriously, stop coming up with these oddball ideas, they aren't helping town at all: safe claim and the encrypted claim? really?
Phate's actions are definetly scummy, being new or not is besides that point however don't hammer him yet, i think he is at lynch-2 but more information is needed, we don't have the smoking gun yet.ShowAs Town: 3/8

ryan - this question
So, ryan, why do you keep using other people's logic for your votes, when it is obvious you don't really share it (or understand it)? Is it too hard to create an original accusation when you know the one you're accusing is town?ShowAs Town: 3/8

by intimating you have a power role, and also hinting you have information on another player. If we had all took you at your word and speed lynched, what would you have said then? If a real cop had counter claimed, then your I didn't mean it wouldn't have counted for crap, we would have lynched you. It was an anti-town move.destructor wrote:The fact that something slightly unordinary happened. It's like you're using that as an excuse to vote for me.

claims we can be sure of (ie deadies) + soupfly + me (It's my list, I can be sure of me even if you can't)
Carrot - ryan
Cauliflower - Y
Leek - thinktank
Broccoli - soupfly
Cabage - WhoMe?
These are all vegetables you could eat with a roast dinner as is
Green Beans - Oman
Pea - Bookitty
Brussel Sprout - destructor

The criteria is not whetehr a veg can be roasted. I have in fact eaten roast capsicum, but as part of a pasta meal, not as part of a Sunday roast, ie Roast Beef with all the trimmings etc. My list stands, of you want to attack me for it, go ahead.Crub wrote:lulz, I feel left out

That's sort of my point. We have all now claimed. Clearly the scum amongst us are lying. The one scum we know the vegetable of is ryan, and he is indeed a vegetable that would go with a roast dinner, just not a green one. That is why I am surmising that the people on my list are lying about their veg.gorckat wrote:FoS: WhoMe?

OK heres some backup from wikipedia check out their Roast_Dinner article
spinach can be filed under the plainly cooked seasonal vegetable bit lettuce can't, cucumber can't & Green Pepper's can'tOther vegetable dishes served with roast dinner can include mashed swede or turnip, roast parsnip, boiled or steamed cabbage, broccoli, green beans and boiled carrots and peas. It is also common for prepared vegetable dishes — such as cauliflower cheese and stewed red cabbage — to be served alongside the more usual assortment of plainly-cooked seasonal vegetables
By all means lynch me if you find me scummy, but please at least understand my theory first. And then when I come up town, take another look at it, my dodgy player list, and the list of people who lynched me.ShowAs Town: 3/8
