I'd love to go into detail about every player thats in the game, and why I have them where I have but I am too tired to post in great detail, so it's going to be sketchy at best.

I have read back and got myself nearly up to date with everything, but here is where I am in with reads:


Up to now, I'm liking Fancypants, Fire Assassin for town. Slight town reads on Yuria, Hark, Alban, Eager. Null on SGZ, NJAC, Persephone. Slight scum reading on Texcat, Gamma.

Hark is only a slight town read simply because I don't see suicidal play like that as scum. It's simply not a viable game play that I would see scum do at this stage of the game, to openly put themselves out there. And if I think more about it, I think it's reaction testing to see who would actually push it to get an easy lynch by doing what he is doing. It's probably not the best strategy to finding scum because it has higher risk of backfiring, and less reward, or I may even be thinking out the box and this isn't his sole intention. I wouldn't call him newb town, or a VI, but I think it could be just his way of generating discussions, engaging with people, and looking for reactions, it appears poorly played, but it's his own unique way.

Firstly I think we should hustle towards a lynch, 5 days with a weekend in between is really not a lot of time.

is pretty null, struggling to get a read, why do you town read textcat gamma?

is a town lean but has collectively said very little.

Voting without explanation I have seen from scum, but I've also seen it from town. It depends on how well you know the person doing it, to whether he has a history of doing it.

Those questions relate to something we can look at post flip. We can possibly draw up associations, connections, information we can build on etc. We will get information post flip, but I'd like most information gained from a flip that we can get.

If she's town, how much of a connection can you get from someone who knows no one elses alignment?

Yeah he probably shouldn't have been. See, I'm a sucker for certain characteristics that I perceive to be towny but can sometimes just be playstyle things. For example hark didn't care much about appearance and was quite flippant and those things usually read very town to me. (I also townread him for other things, like the way he seemed to be scumhunting while not putting in a ton of effort, but yeah). Anyway, this is something I've been thinking about since I realized eager was the vig, and I realized that it could've just been part of hark's playstyle.

I would like to suggest based on how the wagons are currently formed that we lynch ted. I can't see scum voting for each other? That seems kind of like an extremely bold.

Based on how infinity and farside have spoken, they're fine with lynching ted as he is the scum partner over me, I say we have them vote ted.

So if we lynch ted, he's scum, then vig shoots between infinity/farside and the game is solved.

I know I'm not clear either, I know that's the case and I will work my hardest to town clear myself on the last day, but I also think vigi should claim who he plans to shoot because in the offhand chance that ted is the jailer, the backup jailer can jail the alternative between farside/infinity then town is guaranteed the win.

Yeah it makes sense. If ted is town we lose, but I'm confident enough in my reads.

The only reason I bussed was because I essentially had no justification not to. I had expressed townreads on every other slot in the game up until that point, so to avoid voting farside would've been suspicious as hell.
