Well if we want to be technical.

4:1 would be the ratio at which point you don't actually gain/lose IP over the entire course of using the shards (so something like 3:1 means you will gain IP.)

To make it slightly easier, the current ORIGINAL count is 43 4800's to 32 6300's.

Meaning unless you bought a crap load of 6300's originally then you should definitely go for the shards.

Also out of curiousity, what are people's opinions on the Singed Support that got banned?

much harder to get an S with ivern than it used to be
not in the sense that he's harder to play, but that it takes better kdr, csing, etc to earn it

If you're going to play support, don't play jungle. No one knows how to deal with that shit.

To counter the "it's clearly working" argument, it isn't. A large majorty of his wins are from toplane.

If you're about to play stunbot Twisted Fate tank support with Talisman, Righteous Glory, and Protobelt, let your team know the special kind of hell you're aiming to create for your enemies

Did i just get told that i have to tell my teammates in champion select my build?

He doesn't play jungle, he plays support, and starts by putting the enemy jungler behind, then goes bot lane and supports the carry.

It's kinda sad though the mixed messages people are getting because this whole issue is beyond not explained properly to anyone.

My impressions is that its a singed, and singed doesnt follow the same rules about laning and stuff that everyone else, because of his niche. Banning for that idk, might be symptomatic of different issues.

From what I understand he doesn't ever actually support the lane. He just marks himself as support, counter jungles and does singed things while leaving his ADC out to dry. The problem isn't that he's singed support. It's that he's not supporting.

Issue is that seems to be what a lot of people are being told, which is blatantly false, what he does do is counter jungle a buff early putting the enemy jungler behind, go gank mid/top situation allowing and then goes bot to support his ADC, while roaming and such like a normal support.

counter jungling a buff and then ganking mid or top is a great way to put your own adc super behind

Serious talk - if my support left me alone to lane against a duo lane as ANYTHING so he could counterjungle the enemy jungler then gank top as a fucking Singed, I would report him so fast it's not funny. Especially if he's not saying anything. It's not fair to me when I'm in ranked trying to play my best and climb and there's this asshole who isn't talking who's supposed to be in the lane helping me, I could only assume he's trolling.
