I have 2 mini-normal set-ups I'd like to be reviewed.
I'm actually not that interested in normal games, but I need one as a requirement for modding mini-theme games. Thankfully, one non-normal role is allowed, but there are 2 I'm considering. One is unique, one is a redirector variant, of which I don't know what you'd call it here (I haven't gone through
all
the roles on the wiki). So I'd like comments on both.
edit:
Actually, decided against one of the roles, so I have only 1 set-up for review.

I went through the same process a few weeks ago. You don't actually need someone to review a mini normal set-up in advance (although you can if you want to), as it will be reviewed anyway when you sign up in the queue. So just sign up, and the listmod, N, will assign reviewers to you.
edit:
Though I'm not a qualified reviewer, since I've been through the process now, I may take a look at it if you want, and perhaps I can give you some pointers, before the official reviewers take a look at it. You can also look in the queue at the currently running or just finished games, to see what kind of set-ups are played in the mini normal format.

PM me if interested.
Still looking for some eyes. All help is appreciated!
Not a qualified reviewer, but I volunteer to give you my opinion.

I'm getting ahead of myself, but I have a large theme set-up I want to mod after I've modded my second mini (or my third micro).. Which may take a while (2 months?), so I'm not in a hurry.
But it can't hurt to have it done early, and I'm curious to hear what other people think of the set-up.
- 16 players.
- No flavour.
- Straightforward roles and only one mechanic based on pairing players.
I'm also offering to give opinions on other set-ups in general (keep in mind I'm not a qualified reviewer). I like to give opinions and point out issues related to mechanics and roles, actual balancing is better left to others.
I'm also offering to give an advance opinion on normal games, before it gets formally reviewed, especially for new mods.. Again, I may be not much use with actual balancing, but I think I've looked at the normal guidelines long enough to be able to help out with normalizing the game. Or I'd like to try at least.

@Mizzy, I'm not great with evaluating balance, but I can point out role interactions and normalization issues, and can help bring a set-up closer to somethng that won't need much work during the actual review. You can PM me the set-ups, or a private topic link if you happen to have one.

I need 1-2 reviewers for a mini theme and 2 reviewers for a large theme. Not sure if I will do both simultaneously as I originally intended (after my current mini normal), as I'm busier than normal.
Both:
- relatively straight forward roles, except a few set-up specific roles.
- one simple mechanic.
- no flavour.
mini theme:
Binary mafia
Mechanic: players have 2 roles, and need to choose which one to use for each day- night cycle.
large theme:
Sync mafia
Mechanic: abilities are linked. In order to use an ability linked players need to both send in the same target. They both succeed or they both fail.
