Lijkt mij ook wel leuk. Er zijn een paar mensen in het personeelscentrum waar ik woon die wel eens mafia gespeeld hebben (ikzelf nog nooit IRL). Als er mensen zijn die zin hebben om een keer langs te komen, er is plek genoeg voor zo'n 50 man :).

Een "bandwagon" is gewoon een muziekwagen in een parade. En waar kijken we nou het hele jaar naar uit? ... juist, carnaval ;). Dan wordt het zoiets als op de carnavalswagen springen.

Of we gebruiken een Nederlandse uitdrukking:

You started the bandwagon!
Jij bent het eerste schaap dat over de dam ging!

En we weten allemaal: Als er één schaap over de dam is ... staat het hek open ;).

To answer your question, I think a lot of dutch people learned english simply by watching television. In most countries, the voices are changed to the native language. We listen to english and read the subtitles instead. When you're young, you pick up a language very fast like this.

Sure, about 95% of it. But I think it somewhat helps to know english. I saw some constructions that were literally translated from english and don't make that much sense in dutch (going to be != aan het ben) ;).

But in general, every dutch person will understand what you mean.
