Having watcher and Doctor both would seem quite overkill (I honestly thought even 1 was overkill)l to me mostly because unless everyone did a pre night 2 mass claim Ic would be shown with both doctors and watcher would prob be on the IC and when reports came through it would be an almost obv cc giving a free lynch to scum I think Infinity's angle was the "Why would I cc someone" route to get a better anfle

So then the question is what role could Infinity be? I think the answer that makes the most sense is mafia sided Doctor with the Gunsmith because with the JOAT IC and gunsmith that has many many ways to clear people putting scum at a heavy disadvantage so that could help balance it out a bit

WRT too many town power, the logical thing that follows is the more powerful the role the worse it is for contributing to too much town power.
A second doc is very dubious if it helps, and even a single doctor is a very weak role (if one say died n1), compared to watcher which is incredibly powerful.

I know some mods like to add wifom into setups so people don't make hard rules like "there can never be 2 of x" and so on and I can see appeal with gunsmith as well, though I haven't played a marquis game before.

But if vedith was the second doc claim and you were the watcher I would still lynch him.

I had him as null but always as a back burner lynch over others but then I thought he was town because he cc'd DGB and it didn't ping me odd until now that I look at it Why would DGB claim watcher and not her own role of voy? I think it's because it was planned for Vedith to cc just to get town cred and always have that in his pocket I mean it makes no sense for DGB to not claim her own role anyway it worked for me so I had him as town for most of the game until the mass claim came in and I thought he was in paranoia mode calling me scum and his posts were consistent so I thought he was town and the game was over but then when we got to 5 way he was changing getting very aggro with wifom plays I still thought Infinity was trapped scum so I didn't really think much of it and thought he was playing bad but in reality he was setting up lynches

The ONLY other way people can just use gut reads is if that is all they do and they are known for that. That makes a really hard way to start playing mafia IMO.

I'm fairly sure one of RB/Infinity is scum and the other is town due to interactions even though I scumread both.

Who are you I have reasons as I said mostly due to interaction and I dislike a lot of there posts but even if I didn't have that many reasons gut reads are a thing in this game and you'll get a lot of votes wrong for it.

Read my Wiki on gut reads. Unless you are the type of person who has such good reads that people just assume you are right you need at least SOME backing for your reads. It doesn't need to be a 4000 character post, but it does have to have punch. I have said this elsewhere: If you are just giving gut reads, then that allows Scum to pretty much just do the same thing. The game would essentially become a game where all that was done was voting, which is not Mafia.

I don't think you understand that even if you find gut reads scummy it's a normal human thing to have gut feelings about something not just mafia.

When RB/Infinity got in a bit of a fight I was sure one was scum but not both because of said fight I felt like Infinity really wanted a Naomi lynch early on but didn't see it was getting through so he switched wagons

I could of done a lot of the stuff I did this game as scum but I'd take a more aggro approach and do a bit more caps lock ate to start
I don't think my cases could have been as good I'm proud of myself for being able to set up spec well enough and I learned the hard way 2 docs could be a thing even if I'd prob have lynched Infinity either way.

my scum game changes a lot but I'm a lot more confident in myself because I do better as scum then town on this site for some reason when in chat I'm awful at scum and great at town so it's weird being able to test myself

Cause I've always had a problem with doubting my reads cause I've been called bad at mafia so many times so I just kinda agree with people so I'm always scared to go against the coward a lot and I feel like if i just ignored that and just had a bit of confidence in myself I would have been able to strongly push more reads that I wanted
