Advanced Civilization Client
I don't know if this necessarily goes here, gauging interest
http://civ.rol-play.com/
This is an online version of Avalon Hill's Advanced Civilization. This game is like the most complicated thing I've ever seen in existence.
Does anyone have any interest of playing it with me? It plays up to 8 players. It's super low commitment, 48 hour deadlines. There are some help videos on the site to introduce you to the basic concepts.Come see me in the Great American Melodrama in Oceano- BBmolla

A long time.In post 6, Randomnamechange wrote:How long does a game take?
But like I said, it's low commitment. I'm in a couple games now and I just check it once a day. You can even do your turn while its someone else's. Assuming you don't think theirs will affect yours obv.
Really though it depends on how fast players take their turns.Come see me in the Great American Melodrama in Oceano- BBmolla

Setting up the game. Add me, mollardbrett@yahoo.com, and let me know you did so in this thread. I'll start up the game with everyone who added me tomorrow.
This is purely for fun and I don't care if you suck!Come see me in the Great American Melodrama in Oceano- BBmolla

There are videos in the help section that explain the basics, on mobile so I'm unable to link them at the moment. In post 21, wgeurts wrote:How do you play?Come see me in the Great American Melodrama in Oceano- BBmolla

Started it up!
Feel free to discuss/ask questions here.
First round is selecting what Civ everyone wants.
Just as a precaution, do NOT use up all your population to create boats. I've seen at least two players kill themselves turn 2 by doing this.Come see me in the Great American Melodrama in Oceano- BBmolla

I'm unsure. I think so, considering you need 1 at least to advance when we get to AST marker to advance an age.In post 34, McMenno wrote:is building a city in round 3 a good tacticCome see me in the Great American Melodrama in Oceano - BBmolla
