Board Games!

I feel too young to comment on this thread but I really want to get into board games like these...except I think I missed out on the generation that had it here in Australia. I don't think there are many that go about and I don't think there would be any shops that sell them and even less people I know who would want to play them. ._.

I think this thread is pretty cool though. ^_^/

Cooperative game with everyone possibly winning essentially is why I enjoy it.

Too general. Though I guess I'll probably have to try them all if I want to say anything. Couple that I've already tried are on there too.

EDIT: Maybe to say that I don't want any games with a traitor mechanic might be more helpful.

I've just seen BSG being played and by god it seems like a really awesome game...reminiscent to Shadows over Camelot.

I definitely would love to have a go. I'd prefer sci-fi over medieval setting any day.

I have Tabletop Sim and it's really cool if you have people to play with but are close to you...since 200+ ping REALLY slows down things to where they are unplayable from the last time I've played.

The only Japanese Gambling game that I can think of that's simple is Oicho-Kabu.

Sounds like something that would really be decided on the end few rounds, though I'm not sure what this game is called.

Also, it's more country to country that has problems than state to state. 200+ ping is guaranteed from where I play with any American and is definitely unplayable.

Had a boardgame night on Saturday. That was fun, the games I could remember were Spyfall, Citadels (which I won), Codenames and one more that was made in Hong Kong, something about investigations and the like.

We also played Quiplash and Drawful, ahaha. I'm awful at Quiplash.

Boardgame night was last night again and this time we played...in order during the night.

Snake Oil (Tied for first with comeback pitches. Excuse Armor for Superhero was the best I made)
Codenames (again)
Spyfall (again)
Disc Duelers/Coup (I played Disc Duelers myself, came second AHHH)
Quarriors! (...This game...I swear...)
Hanabi (20 points, good for the other people who played for the first time)

And I really wanted to play Tentacle Bento but we didn't have time...
