oh but to clarify, I like the "wait 10 hours" plan, not the "do it immediately and don't bother with whether anyone has anything last minute to add" plan- Bins

Honestly, I want to say something concrete but I'm at the point where everything I say is going to have 50% doubt behind it.
I really liked Iraonovp's post. I feel an H_A lynch is fine, but I'm just fucking peeved about lynching the doc claim, of course. When it is possible there's a BG and Doc (THE WEAK ROLE DOES HELP THIS I DON'T KNOW WHAT TOOL WAS SAYING). But in a way, man, clearing up the H_A and Robert scum possibility is important. I just agree that there's a chance - A CHANCE - that H_A is scum and Robert is not and that's more likely than Robert scum and H_A not. Robert's move, much like Irao's, was crazy town.- Bins

Okay, should clarify why I like the Irao post. Basically, I feel that Irao looking in pretty much everyone else but the other two three is pretty town here and is pretty much what I'm doing right now in my head. I feel like since we have 3 claimed roles at this moment (2 which are very protown), scum isn't going to want to just nope out on the chance of lynching one of them.- iraonavp

None of them, I just changed my mind after thinking about it.

Nobody seems to agree with me about him. I can't explain well with more than short quips, but all of his posts in response to me seem to have really fake emotion.- iraonavp

I don't like how you feel the need to justify it with weak reasons like this, especially if we both end up being town-aligned. It would be really bad if we're both town-aligned and "information lynches" don't exist. It's easy to say that there is resistance to someone when scum-aligned because you already know how that observation can be used to accuse other people.
Maybe you're just going to hammer anyway but I don't feel like this is the right move.
If heuristically_alone ends up being scum-aligned, though, I really don't think that would make Robert scum-aligned. The gambit that Jaack is theorizing seems altogether impossible to me.- Dunnstral

I feel like heuristically_alone is more likely to be town-aligned than not, when I think about it.I'm doubting that there would be both a macho townie and a bodyguard, when both aren't strong roles.
I'm confused. You doubt Robert's claim, and you still think he's town?
In post 684, iraonavp wrote:I don't like how you feel the need to justify it with weak reasons like this
Justify? No, not really. If you hadn't noticed by now, the way I play the game is kind of a building process. I leave myself notes as I go along, and every once in a while I leave a case or a readslist or something. I'm not justifying it so much as I'm laying down a path for where I've been and where I'm going.
And assuming I'm alive tomorrow (the most likely case), where I'm going is that I'm going to be looking at how people interacted with
In post 684, iraonavp wrote:It would be really bad if we're both town-aligned
Good thing I don't think you both are. But I'm not going to let my number one lynch candidate out of the noose because they might be town. Everybodymightbe town.
In post 684, iraonavp wrote:"information lynches" don't exist.
I would argue that most D1 lynches are "information lynches." You rarely have anything solid to go on -- just look at the HA lynch here. Even with a counterclaim to his role, we have people like you saying it's not solid evidence.
In post 684, iraonavp wrote:The gambit that Jaack is theorizing seems altogether impossible to me.
I think part of this hinges on the whole "my role makes both their roles likely" concept. Because if Robert really believed that -- and other people in the game do too, apparently, and I still don't think I understand why -- it provides an alternative town explanation for his claim.
It does not, however, address the weirdness with his role name."Half of the game is figuring out who the scum is. The other half is convincing everyone else that you're right." -- PlaysWithSquirrels, in Newbie 437- toolenduso

This whole time they've been wandering around the floor.
I glance at them with nonchalant swivels of my head. The absolute last thing I want is them making eye contact.
I've kept track of one of them. In the corner, by the three couches arbitrarily designated the VIP section, inhabited by the sort of people who are willing to spend extra for the unimpressive inequity.
This guy though, it seems he thinks there's something to the label.
They're kids, the VIPers, around my age probably. Wide-eyed open mouth shrugs are how they receive him, but he keeps inquiring, all leaning in on the seat, and they, probably elated that one of these has acknowledged their rented status, keep engaging him.
I focus on my drinks for a while, and when I glance back at them he's still there. Still leaning in. Them still stupified at the attention. Maybe it's the girls he's after.
Oh nope. Nope.
Guy takes one of the posts and throws it at the wall. Shouts.
"No me mientan hijos de puta!" He says. "No me mientan!"
Party slows down a bit. People watch the scene in shock and slightpena ajena. Hair-trigger tempers are always sort of pathetic.
He gets escorted out. His buddies, at least for now, are nowhere to be seen.
has been kicked out of the nightclub. He was aheuristically_alonemafia goon

Coming in the next day, I was in a slight daze. I hadn't slept well and was still a bit worried about the previous night's events. It didn't seem like them to give up that easily after one night. They'd be back, and they'd keep coming back until they got what they wanted, which I'm pretty sure was my boss's life. The brutality was not something I dwelled on, I much preferred wiping down my glasses and sorting my spoons.
Sometimes though, there's things you just have to dwell on, for example, I noticed the guy who had thrown the gangster out yesterday was nowhere to be seen, I noticed other people on the staff noticing the same thing, and even as the club filled up and the music began to play, his absence filled the air with a creeping foreboding that I couldn't ignore.
"One of you is next" the atmosphere seemed to say, and I know I wasn't the only one who heard it.

it was moderately confusing before having a Zach and a Jaack and a Jake; now we have a Zakk, too.
anyway: I'm really glad that Tyler didn't die because I'm really curious about 688.
looking back on it, a lot of the pressure on both ira and h_a started with Keyser, so a careful reading of Keyser's ISO seems very worthwhile, and I'll definitely do that soon; given the whole issue of him voting for h_a early on even though ira was the more logical vote based on the reasoning he presented in the thread, I... well, I'm not sure how I feel about it; I'll have to think about that.
I think in general yesterday I was playing really paranoid, and pushing too hard on the "you're not helping the town, so you're scum" angle on Zachstralkita; he's another person whose ISO I'd like to reassess.
pedit: I definitely think that vote on Dunnstral is misplaced, though it's not really that surprising a vote.- Jake from State Farm

So who are you currently scum reading? You ask a bunch of questions but I don't remember seeing you really make a strong push on anyone. It's actually kind of annoying but that's just a personal thingShowThings I've learned.
