-HA's points in his defense after ira's claim make HA look even worse IMO. He basically repeats Jaack's defense of him from earlier (side note: does this make jaack less likely to be a partner of HA's, since scum have daychat? come back to this) and then gives a lame excuse for not voting ira that contradicts the defense he'd just made.
-RE: #560, I'm not sure I've ever seen somebody say that it's a bad idea to lynch D1

in general.

I have no idea why that would be the case. He includes a conditional in the sentence, saying he's suspicious of HA. It feels off, and possibly like half distancing from a buddy, half trying to see if there's any way to kill the wagon on HA.
-RE: #563, Robert's explanations of his original voting of Jake continues to get more confusing. He wants town to know that Jake might try to take revenge on him, OK, you can do that without voting Jake. And he openly admits he has nothing to indicate whether Jake is town or scum, and yet he voted Jake after leaving the game for a while and catching up? Robert also doesn't answer my questions, he only answers Jake's.
-The claim is weird. It also seems like it could be an attempt to save HA.

go without saying. Towns are unpredictable, they can jump the gun, scum can quickhammer, etc. This happens, more than it should, and you should not assume that other players will think about these things before hammering a wagon.

To be absolutely 100% clear here, your role PM says that you are a "weak townie"?

I didn't see the point of a modifier other then to screw me. This is as far as I can tell is the first time playing with zuffy as the MOD. So I don't think he did it to screw me as I don't know him, so why is it in the game? If two protective roles are truly in the game, it makes more sense. If not, why for sake of balancing have the modifier? If you can come up with a theory that makes sense I'll listen, but 2 protective roles makes sense behind the reasoning of giving me this silly modifier. Or anybody for that Matter.

I assume you are lying because you repeatedly referred to your role by an incorrect name. I don't believe for a second that you claim to have never heard of the macho modifier when it supposedly is your role (you know, the thing you had to confirm via pm before the game).

don't mind it. I think they're the type of player who looks at every post individually in isolation and then adds up the points, so it's not like their perspective is fluctuating wildly.

we approach this game in fundamentally different ways it seems

i just noticed that early on he townread you which bumped up against my thought process cuz i thought you were scummy as fuck then you start catching heat and he starts transitioning into a scumread on you and it felt fake to me

It's not merely about misreading a role pm.

It's that he claimed never to have heard of his role despite understanding what it does and having confirmed it in pregame. (See 587)

That being said, let's try to work out what we should do.

So let's assume for a second that all three of ira, h_a, and Robert are telling the truth about their roles.

Robert would be little more than a named townie with only the macho modifier. Since doc is slightly better than bg, h_a would be slightly more useful than ira. So the "best" lynch in this scenario would be robert, and then have ira protect h_a and h_a protect someone aside from ira.

Assuming at least one is scum, then once again Robert is the best lynch, as it's highly doubtful that a macho townie with no night role exists in a game with just a lone doc/bg. If one of ira/h_a is scum, Robert almost certainly is as well.

I guess there is the possibility they are all scum pulling a ridiculous gambit, but that is infinitesimally unlikely and would become obvious by d3.
