Odd night cult recruiter


On odd nights, you may recruit one player into your cult. On even nights, any new cult members are added to your private thread. You are not informed that the recruit was successful until they appear in the private thread on even nights. You win when everyone is a cultist or nothing can prevent this from occuring.

You have a posting restriction that in every post you may only post by quoting things other people said and stating that you agree with it (in however many words you like). You may vote and unvote normally.



(I think would be interesting as mafia, you could just quote people being misguided or tunnelling a townie or whatever, but it would be interesting challenge as town too to have to distinguish yourself and let other people know you're town)

Vanilla Townie


Your day power is your voice and your vote. Your night power is rereading ISOs. Several times per night you can go over the thread and examine it for scumtells. The mod will not confirm or deny any of the conclusions you come to using your night power. You win when all threats to the town are eliminated, even if you yourself are not alive.



@McMenno: What's a vanilla spook? How is it different from a vanilla townie? You had some other spooks on the last page. What does it mean?

Town Miller Encryptor


Passive abilities: While you are alive, you enable mafia daytalk. You are a miller: you will appear as mafia to all investigations.
Active abilities: During the daytime, you may talk to in the public game thread and cast votes for people you are suspicious of. At night, you may reread the public thread and search player’s ISOs for scumslips. You may submit any theories you have about the game and who is scum to the mod, but you will not receive any response.
Win condition: You win when all threats to the town have been eliminated.

Town Voice of Reason


While you are alive, if people are being annoying in the thread (town vs town arguments/won’t shut up about anime/quoting Epictetus instead of playing the game/etc), players may vote to have them restrained by typing
Restrain [player1, player2] about topic
. Up to two people may be restrained at a time, and only about 1 topic.

If 1/3 (and at least 3) of the players vote for this, these 2 players may not discuss the topic they were discussing until the end of the day phase or until 1/3 (and at least 3) of active players vote for a new restraint. They may continue voting each other or unvoting each other normally.

You win with the town.

Examples:

Restrain player1, player2 about each other
— players may vote each other but may not talk to or about each other for the rest of the day phase.
Restrain player1 about Epictetus
— player1 may not discuss Epictetus for the rest of the day phase.
