Finally gave Prophets of Rage a second listen today after listening to it - and being sorely disappointed - on the day of release. It's RATM without Zach and with Chuck D from PE and B-Real from Cypress Hill. The lyrics are a little... eh. But the RATM end is solid af with some really good grooves and I think there's some solid potential for a good sophomore album if it happens. It feels like the album was weak because neither Chuck nor B-Real really wanted to commit to some good quality writing for what they figured would be a one-off or otherwise poorly received album. And that may be the case... I don't think it was received well. But the potential is there! Here's to hoping.

In other news, Death Grips is working with Justin Chancellor from Tool, and when is Run The Jewels gonna release RtJ4?
