this game would have been so much better if it were Mini 1776 instead of 1774.

Oh yeah wgeurts is right, this is a terrible reason for a vote.
VOTE: Nosferatu

also I'll have you know, there's no reason that he reads the game, puts fire to L-1 for "tradition", and then "realizes" he just put someone up for L-1 where there is a mod confirmed hated. And yes I'm assuming he read the game up to that point, as no rational person puts down a vote before reading the game.

I've only made two non-RVS votes and only one on a wagon (the Persivul vote). This is max misrep.

were both of those votes not almost immediately after a previous one?

vote on nosferatu:
reasons laid out by wguerts 5 posts before

vote on persivul:
vote by firebringer 2 posts before and no reasoning other than sorting.

I mean sure it would be excusable if there were some questions along with that vote, but all we got was a "if you didn't like this why are you on this" FIFTY POSTS LATER. And that question shows obvious attention not being paid to the slot, so obviously there weren't any questions that needed to be responded to at the time of the vote, therefore sorting was an afterthought of getting on the wagon.

wagoning under the pretense of sorting is scummy af and it's what you've been doing all game. Sure voting someone puts pressure under them, but only when accompanied with heavy questioning. That's how you sort people with votes. Not just voting them and sitting on it. Which is what you've done so far.

That's not a fair charge. If he continues to do nothing, you continue to suspect him for that. If he does something, you say it's suspicious that he did something in response to being called out. It's like asking someone if they've stopped kicking puppies yet.

Fair enough. The way he popped in and started posting so quickly post-accusation just felt off to me.

I'm looking, and I don't see the term "scum" anywhere. Now it looks like you're backtracking.

Yes I didn't explicitly say I was null scumreading him but it was heavily implied. I'm not going to say "I'm scumreading this person!" every time I vote someone, that's just common sense.

you wanna see a misrep?

In post 413, SirCakez wrote: is an awful reason to vote someone. This is where my initial scumread developed from. Wgeurts initially caught it and I agreed with it. Then in he argues for the vote only to unvote three posts later . No conviction there at all.
Then there's a big stretch of one liners from to that contribute nothing and are fluff/coasting.
begins his long, terrible push on me, using awful reasoning to scumread like "Just jumps on wagons like a settler." (this is terrible, I only joined one wagon and that was intentional) and then his big "your Persivul vote was pointless" which I've already refuted because Persivul made posts responding directly to his wagon. And then when this is pointed out he made a pointless post handwaving it in .

this is a misrep.

first you say my vote logic was bad without saying why.

then you claim I had no conviction because I unvoted after reading a post that legit explains why the post persival made wasn't scummy. Continuing the vote after would have been tunneling. It's a lose-lose situation there, and either way you would've construed it as bad.

next you claim that all my posts from 119 to 211 were all fluff one-liners when they were actually responses to current posts, not just basic observations, which your ISO makes up.

next you claim my reason for scum reading you were bad and using a quote that I said was misleading later.

and then you use your stupid ass post saying your vote on persivul was useful because he mentioned you in a later post.

that's a fucking misrep fam.

P-P-Edit: ew

thank you, honestly. I SAID IT WASN'T RANDOM. I said it wasn't random and he intentionally voted firebringer. I thought that the "just tradition" was either a. his tradition of voting FB in RVS that I didn't know of or b. a tradition of putting people to L-1

also I'll have you know, there's no reason that he reads the game, puts fire to L-1 for "tradition", and then "realizes" he just put someone up for L-1 where there is a mod confirmed hated. And yes I'm assuming he read the game up to that point, as no rational person puts down a vote before reading the game.

like was this post even read? I'm arguing he read the page and intentionally put FB on the guillotine.

I think it is a double edged sword kind of play.
On the townie side, he listens and is active in the game. He seems to want to keep the game on track and keeps conversation flowing. Although he did break up my fight with beeboy.

In the mafia side, he is in a position of directing the movement of the game. This means that he does not not have to have an opinion as long as he can filter in our opinions.

So it can be seen from both angle.s

so do you have any evidence of directing the movement of the game in an anti-town fashion? Because you literally just said he's keeping the game on track. Unless you're saying directing the town in any fashion is anti-town.

beeboy wrote:

I have no meta with kill so I don't actually care about this.

meta doesn't stop being relevant because you don't have it with one person. It's like saying pancakes don't exist because you've never been to a particular ihop.

I disagree with your pancakes comment because meta is different. While I know pancakes exist, I would rather not like to compare the pancakes i make in my kitchen to the ones at a restaurant. As your opinion of them is heavily based on how you feel at the moment and because the recipe can be easily changed to satisfy a new customer.

1. Well until you actually see someone directing the town in an anti-town way, it's kinda unreasonable to scum read someone based on the possibility that that might be the case.

Dierfire - Obviously engaging other posters, generating content, keeping the game going. Not necessarily Alignment Indicative, though, I've seen Scum do it. I don't know Dier well enough.

Suzune - Her Town and Scum games are good enough that I can't sort her yet.

Shiro - Fluffy. More policy lynch material.

Good to know your 1St Choice for lynxh is a null Pl and your 2ND choice your top townread.

Can we lynch her now?

I believe I said that I modified my list.

Are you suggesting that reads can't change during the game? Because they can, you know. They should.

I had Alch as Town, yes.

Then he said something that pinged. Now Alch is a clever player, so when I saw it I thought 'oh, he's actually Scum!' When I re-read his ISO, though, I realized that I misunderstood what he was saying. So he's back to Town. Very solidly, I might add.

TWO prod dodges, that started over Easter weekend while I was heavily distracted with R/L here in Grand Central. Remember that I was V/LA at the time of the first prodge.

So I come back, I'm skimming through to catch up, and I see TWO prod dodges. Whenever I see that, I automatically decide that the party in question is Scum, because the only Townies that do that are trolls.

A different day, another read-through and many cups of coffee later I put him back in the Town pile. The two prodges aren't a good look, but everything else looks very Townish to me.

Laziness aside, although that did irk me that he would not protest to help the town...I think this might be a good choice today. Nosferatu as gotten by most of the game without having to give their opinion on anything just posting in to question everyone else.

Well I mean I was like: "I gotta help muh fellow townies" but then I was like
well then what do I pick
and I was like "well which one was suggested in the thread" but there wasn't one and I was like
well let me think about which one is best
but by then I had already thought too much so I put it off 'til later and just forgot about it.

and like I'm not gonna really generate a ton of content about it but could you give a readlist? You haven't done one this game.
