Really you think so? I get the impression from all my games with him that this is his general face of the game. Playful. It seems to be scummy and townie. Or at least I have lynched him for it when he was both town and scum.

Oh he's always playful. But I think you can always see some actual thought in his posts. I've always been able to read him as Town in our Town games together (and he was usually killed N1) and when we were scum together he got lynched within 12 pages iirc.

Slight Townread on Suzune now. Her thoughts on me are normal for a Townie who doesn't know me, though I don't see what was wrong with bringing up the protests. I like understanding the setups when I play and I wanted some clarity there.

I don't remember Beeboy sheeping this much early game, but my games with beeboy are few and far between. Regardless of Fire's alignment he's probably telling the truth about Beeboy, so Beeboy's probably town in that regard.

I was the first to be pushing nos as Nos has kindly pointed out. He hasn't been scum-hunting, instead of trying to get an explanation from beeboy he just wants him lynched. Town should try and interact with their reads to get more information, scum tend to not really care. Him saying he didn't defend us is also a blatant lie as him telling FB to stop tunneling was literally getting FB to stop attacking us. You don't tell someone to stop tunneling if you don't have a read on the person getting tunnelled. That post reeks of being forced and fake, the whole vibe is overconfident and generally seems to be scum motivated.

Nos, give me your top three town and scum reads gun to head please.
~wgeurts

I don't like this. Surely you've seen the type of player that wants their scumread lynched and doesn't care what their scumreads have to say? Fire straight up said he was going to spam the thread and when he did Kill told him to stop. This feels like you're trying to take her playstyle and make it look scummy.

I don't like how quickly the Persivul wagon popped up. It's way top knee-jerk for something that's not really scummy and half the votes aren't even scumreading the slot, they're just sheeping/adding pressure. SirCakez' vote I hate the most. (At least Fire is doing that weird pseudo-hydra thing with Shiro).

Yes I didn't explicitly say I was null scumreading him but it was heavily implied. I'm not going to say "I'm scumreading this person!" every time I vote someone, that's just common sense.

Your posts imply a dead null read, and you were the 4th vote on a wagon you weren't scumreading. When I called you on it,
then and only then
did you give some indication of a scumread on the slot.

This is not something you say about someone you're scumreading; it's something you say about someone you have no read on.

Anyone else wanna give their opinion on Cakez here? It's pointless for me to keep arguing with him about why he's scum so I'd rather talk with some other people about it now.

Does anyone know the current votecount?
There's 3 on Kling and 2 on Shiro if I counted right.

I could vote for either Klingon or Shiro, leaning more towards Shiro. There's an outside chance Dierfire is scum, and an even further outside chance of Molla scum, but both those are more null to me.

Everyone else I think is some level of Town.

This game feels like it hit a major dead end or something. People are actually discussing policy lynches because lol(?). Kling's readslist is the only thing really noteworthy that's happened in the past 4 rl days. I'd like us to end this Day soon if the slow trend keeps up.

That reads list looks like it comes from a Town Klingon, but it still doesn't bump her out of my lynchpool.

Shiro and Kling were both on the counterwagon to Cakez, and if I went by that alone I'd be voting Kling first, but it was how easily Shiro joined that Kling wagon early on today that tips my preference to Shiro.

Dier's vote on Cakez looks kinda like a bus vote to me and some of his posts remind me of my own scum game. The more I think about that slot the more I think it's likely scum. The catch is that I can see him being scum with Kling but not with Shiro since it means he's bussing D1 and D2.

If Shiro's scum, the other two are off the table for me. If she's Town, I'd be looking specifically at those two.

Is it ok for me to say what I got? As far as I know it doesn't do anything, but it's not the same object you gave firebringer and you've implied it's a bad idea for scum to get these things.

Following up from yesterday,
VOTE: Klingon

I'd also like to know what protests everyone voted for last night. I went with the no taxation without representation because we never discussed protest choices yesterday so I fell back to Firebringer's suggestion since I figured he go there and I wanted a protest to have a reasonable chance of going through (I haven't checked the rules on what happens if there's a tie for protests).

Ok, now I just need
Beeboy
Ranger and Persivul to claim their protests and I'll have everyone's.

To answer Pip's question:

I think Klingon and Dier are scum. You are null. Looking back I can't remember why I was Townreading KTS unless it was for being on the Cakez wagon, so I'd put her back to null as well. Everyone else I think is Town.

Btw Ranger, at this point it's ok if you don't get an answer on what Beeboy voted, as at worst it would have tied the vote with Taxation and I would have had to assume Taxation won through RNG.

For people who were wondering why I was interested in the protest votes, I think No Quartering was something Town could have voted for but scum would have never voted for, and was hoping that scum players would claim voting for it for towncred. I was hoping that would lead to a discrepency between the claimed protests and what actually won, and we could have a greatly reduced lynchpool where we knew there was a false claim.

Unfortunately that didn't happen. In retrospect I probably should have suggested scum wouldn't vote no quartering when I first asked for claims to incentivize scum to lie. At least now I can reasonably say Pip is Town because of this.

Because it was painfully obvious that SirCakez was going down that day, and he was hoping to earn some town credit for being the hammer vote.

I was hoping we would take the time to learn from yesterday and discuss/coordinate protest votes before ending the Day.

I'm probably voting for No Quartering tonight unless someone has a better idea. I think tonight would be a good night to use it.

Sorry about that. I didn't realize I was putting him at L-1 when I voted him. Good shot on pip though!

In post 1282, Ranger wrote:Sorry, Persivul.

itlepip did an excellent job of making himself look town. In particular, his hammer after having previously defended Klingoncelt and Klingoncelt claimed VT screamed, "I am a role who knows Klingoncelt is

I was actually convinced that coming into the next day, I was going to be mislynched.

I was gonna vote Pip today before anyone else since he was the last one in my not-Town pile. After your case on Klingon I don't think you should have ever been lynched (and if I didn't think Fire was going to shoot Persivul anyway I was going to sheep you and shoot him if Kling flipped scum).

What would the other protests have done? It's a cool mechanic but I think it made things a little Town sided because it seemed no matter what the protest was it always helped Town (except the time it stopped Fire's shot, but even then it also stopped the mafia's kill).
