What's the site meta on correlation between source alignments and game alignments?

I know on SmashBoards there was no such correlation, but I reason that question would be somewhat useless if that were the case here.

And if alignments here do mirror source material, might it be beneficial to claim characters en masse and go from there?

I be masqueradin' as someone who be a matey o' Shinichi, and I suspect all the non-scurvy dogs be doing the same.

The scurvy dogs probably be doubly-masquerading and can pretend to have a non-scurvy outfit.

Mass disguise claimin' be bad because it will be revealin' which limeys have special powers, but it's worth having armor pirate and sad-turtle pirate claim since their power already be known and there may be a deckhand who can figure out if they be speaking sooth.

After all, someone has to be vanilla here, and while I've not watched Conan, I find it unlikely that an anime character fit the vanilla bill.

As such, I have no issue claiming my own character, without the role, if it helps give alignment insight.

Well certain characters are obviously bad and others are friends of Conan Edogawa, so people who have bad characters are probably scum.

sonic, massclaiming just our characters won't help because moderators usually give fake claims. so scum players are the 'evil' characters (an oversimplification, but yeah!), but they probably have good characters they can pretend to be.

and the other reason we can't massclaim our characters is because it gives hints to powers. like.. Professor Agasa would likely be an inventor, there are a lot of cop characters and detectives and those are all people we don't want getting murdered, yeah?

I never said I was suspicious of you. Why are you getting defensive? I just asked you for your reason and now it seems that you don't want to say it outright.
