Substantialness coming later. These are simply my gut feelings on a quick readthrough.

Actually, I missed one too. Jingo should be on there. It would have been quicker to list players I didn't find scummy XD.

I don't find the talitha push all too scummy. The game was at a snail's pace at that point, and there were no real scummy people to vote for. I probably would have said something like that.

Even now, after re-reading, I have no real indication of who looks very scummy.

There are some things I noted though:

Pooky's massive quote thingies, very annoying, I couldn't follow them well, and they didn't seem to provide as much substance as I'd thought they would. Same with theAdmirals giant quote walls. Ancalagon said it best I believe:

Twito's by far the worst sarcasm/joker. I don't think any of his posts have real substance, he might as well be lurking, and if they do have real substance, It got jumbled in the mess of "I'm drunk" and "I'm on vacation" posts. I get the feeling this is how he usually plays, but I just don't like it at this time.

I do like Battle mage's and Jingolaw's posts for the post part. I'm inclined to think these players are pro-town, but that could easily change. More people should post in a manner as reasonable and clear as theirs.

This is a post that's fairly typical of Miztef's play this game: he's generally been agreeable and polite, and it's nice to read his posts. But they give me a horribly scummy feel. Several times, Miztef has said he doesnt know who is suspicious, then gone on to to list a few things he finds suspicious, and then not actually voted anyone. The amount of player he's poked at without ever really comitting is extraordinary: he's given himself plenty of wiggle room should he need it. Whether he feels a player is scum or town, he's consistently weak about it.

My gut says battlemage is protown, but this vote seems a bit overconfident.

I think pooky is going a bit overboard with BattleMage, but theopor's info is a bit disconcerning, although it doesn't provide enough solid evidence that BM is scum for me to vote him. I'm happy putting out a FOS: BM though.

@pooky: well, I think he deserves a bit of observation, but I'm not going out with my pitchfork yet. I think that's better then just outright lynching Battlemage on principle as you said to do.

but fine, just to make you happy, I'll unFOS: Battle Mage. There, now if he gets lynched without me voting him and turns out scum, I have no ass cover-up.

These quotes in series really make me cringe. Do you have a spine? Speak up, I say! Considering you haven't so much as FoSsed anyone at all since you entered the game, this really pings to me. The only player who you've actually indicated a suspicion of is the one you repeatedly indicated was po-town. That is, until you do something similar with Theo.

Jordan doesn't seem very scummy to me

I kind of don't like Jordan's vote on skruffs

, as I feel it is more OMGUS and an emotional vote rather then much evidence agaisnt him.

It's a toss up between

Theo, Skruffs and Jordan

for me at this time.

Theo seems to just be doing his regular playstyle, so I am seeing a bit of the light in him (it's like a tiny wax candle in a gaint cave though

) Skruffs play seems inconsistant and sometimes just a little too harsh, but overall he has been one the of the most helpful players.

Jordan....... Jordan..... Jordan..... I just don't know what to think here. There's vote-hopping, weird votes, odd speculations, and incosistances, but all in all, nothing major

. I know I do scummy things all the time without even knowing it, and I feel that Jordan may be in that same posisiton, as a pro-town.

At this time, I have to pick theo out of all the choices as my most scummy. I'm gonna need a bit more of a push to switch my vote.

BM's comment about this not being Theo's normal playstyle seems overly confident.

I have played with Theo before, and his playstyle here seems little different then in that instance (that game is not yet completed however, and I don't know if he is scum or not in that game).

I have liked alot of theo's latest posts, and will therefore unvote for the time being.

Another series of quotes that really make me cringe. (Underlining mine)
1: I don't think he ever ws suspicious of Tally earlier. In fact, he actively defended her. Also, his reasoning for suspecting her is weak beyond belief.

2: His position on Jordan does a 180 in two posts. This worries me.

3: Despite just saying he thought Tally was scummy, and not mentioning Skruffs much at all up to then, he lists his top three as Theo, Patrick and skruffs

4: His position on Theo is inconsistent: Is theo playing his normal playstyle or not? How can BM's comment be overconfident if you gree with what he's saying? Does the fact that theo made some nice looking posts counteract his earlier aggression?

5: Who are you suspicious of now?

Hrm. That's interesting, as I was somewhat worried by you too on re-read. Nevertheless:

Take a look at a few of his posts: he constantly tries to push both sides of the arguments. Combined with his fluidity of suspicion (though I am guilty of that too) it feels very much like he is trying to keep all his options open.

Then there's a gut thing. It may be the unnecessarily verbiose and complex nature of his wording (yes that was deliberate) but he often gives me a sort of slimy, manipulative feel. It's like listening to a politician at times.

There's also a few specific things that I don't like either: FoSsing Pooky before voting him (mostly I just don't get why he would do that: it seems overly cautious), I don't like his stance on Tally at all (posts 20 and 23 in particular), and I hate the way he kept up a running diatribe of "there's nothing to comment on" day 2. He has presented very little original content himself (not once does he really lead an attack on someone, or even really bring up new points), which makes me feel said comments are at best lazyness and at worst scum trying to coast along.

actually, that's a kinda awesome thing. You have to be either vigilante or SK, and either way you're a non-werewolf and that narrows down the list by one (not that you were a likely lynch anyway, but every little helps, as you now can't be godfather).

At any rate, Jingo's play still bugs me, and I don't believe bobby's claim in the slightest. Bobby, have you been activated and if so which day?

Pooky is almost certainly town. Unless scum have an investigation immune role that is not the godfather (being as the godfather died last night), Pooky is townie.

Bobby, the reason I asked is because I strongly suspected that the sorceror was a doc role. I wanted you to answer before night, or one of your partners could have fed you an answer. Interesting, then, that you should come out with the role you did and yesterday. This gives me pause for thought. I think quag or theo should be the lynch today, rather than bobby (it pains me to say it, after being so convinced he was scum) but I don't see him claiming that as scum. Which worries me somewhat about Pooky. But I would be shocked if he were scum. The only way I can see him as scum is if N9V is scum. I'll have to review that possibility, but I see it as unlikely.

Besides, it looks like it's going to be one of Pooky or Bobby today, since their claims seem to conflict eachother.

I thought the people who were most likely to be scum would be in the not voting section because that's where scum are when they feel uncomfortable with bussing and also unable to come up with an alternative option. Skruffs was pretty easy to pick out because of his claim combined with the way he flaked off the wagon.

that and the claims were pretty bad, it's usually a bad idea to claim something that could be tested by a vigilante when you know the town has one of those.
