Too late. Refill's here!
But, Oman, I totally agree... people are jerking around and all that crap and frankly, I'd just rather get the game going.
Of course, this is Pick-Em's game, so he VERY possibly could have post requirements and all that crap, but frankly... no one that has been screwy has been consistent with it, so I just don't see it. I think people just suck. I don't mean you people, specifically. I just mean people, in general.
I probably should stop posting after 5-6 drinks. I should make that the Distad Rule. What do you think, Oman? Too far? hmmm...-

Ya know... the first couple of posts were not drunken ramblings. I can't claim the same for the later posts, though.ShowI will likely be posting far less than I used to for personal/professional reasons.

I'm surprised that Sammich is even entertaining a no-lynch option. His play/logic has been very spotty, anyway.
I'll look back at ChronX again. He hasn't really been around long enough to give me much of an impression yet.
You? Frankly, I was put off by your 'day-kill' prank. The last time I saw that, Rosso Carne did it as scum. I think you threw that out there fishing for him to role claim unnecessarily early. My vote is on you.ShowI will likely be posting far less than I used to for personal/professional reasons.

It wasn't lurking, panzer. It was a long weekend.
I don't see any reason to not believe that we have two cops, frankly. You can say "cops wouldn't breadcrumb this early" all you want, but the fact is that it DOES happen. I think we should look elsewhere.
And d3, Oman had it partially right -- if there are two real cops, scum would likely NK one of them to get the other mislynched immediately; if there is only one real cop, it is unlikely that they would NK him, because it would be giving away one of the scum, essentially for free.-

I can't believe that I'm fully in agreement with JDodge... <sigh>
Both of the cops are TOTALLY out today. We could lynch one of them today, but if we catch scum, the other is all but guaranteed to get NKd. If we don't lynch either of them, there's at least *SOME* chance that they'll survive.
[/exasperation]
And, scotmany, if you are SOOO certain that panzer is scum, fine. But if you are right and we lynch him now, you realize there would be almost no chance of your survival, right?
So, let's look elsewhere today. If you die tonight, fine. You probably would have anyway. But if you don't, then you'll have another investigation result and we can proceed further!
Does this make sense?-

Ya know... I look through this and I'm trying to figure out why you're so against me, JDodge.
Is it because I put this game on the backburner during D1?
Otherwise, I don't understand it. Is it because I 'jumped votes around' on D1? If that's your case, there's a kettle that needs to have a word with you.
On an aside, happy birthday.-

Look. I'm scum. I admit it. But, you don't know if Oman is SK or not. If you lynch me, Oman-SK will NK one of you and Oman-SK wins.
If you lynch Oman-SK, I'll NK someone and I win.
If we NL, we're left with scum, SK/vig, cop, and town/doc going to night.
Everyone has a chance. And if Oman is a vig, then town 100% wins.-

but do you expect everyone else here to believe that?
And what happens if we no lynch?
I kill you. You kill me. Two townies left.
What's the downside for you if you are vig? If you want to PROVE to the town that you are a vig, vote no lynch and die tonight for the town.
You're only proving that you're SK not wanting to lose by not voting for NL.-

I was screwed either way. At the onset of today, there was no way for me to win. My only chance was to lynch the cop and guarantee a town/SK/mafia endgame.
That gives everyone a free shot. Town has no option but to lynch a guaranteed town role or no lynch. If they lynch me, they have to go on blind trust that you are vig and not SK. If they lynch you, I win.
I was told that you're smart. You can get this. Let me know when you catch up.-

Hey... I tried my best.
Frankly, I can't believe that I won. I don't really call this our win. The town totally LOST this game. You guys had Kscope, Panzer, and me totally NAILED but you let us go. I don't understand. I put this game on the absolute backburner because I was just resigned to the fact that scum had lost.
What happened?
I mean, I know JDodge doesn't describe any of his thoughts (and part of that is probably because he's just 17!), but he has decent intuition.
JDodge (and I say this not just because I'm drunk), you play pretty well but I think you would win more often if you described your instincts. That said, I only really want you to get better if you end up on my side.-

When it got down to the last 4, I knew you were the doc anyway. Or at least, I knew that scotmany wasn't one.JDodge wrote:
Neither were you, but at least I didn't lose to someone who claimed "NK-immune miller vig".Oman wrote:Town, I can't believe you lynched me, he was NEVER going to kill Scot.
It was an attempt to trick. As a matter of fact, if certain people weren't saying "I THINK YOU'RE A DOC" then we would've had less of a problem.JD, what did you think was going to happen that night? He'd listen to you and kill Scot?
