I went in not sure what I'd find. What I found: in Kraeg's earlier posting, not much suspicious. It actually looks town in isolation. In Kraeg's later posting, I get more mixed feelings, though. In either case, he's not the bottom-tier of scumread. I'm not sure if I want him lynched or not. Aronis and Idiot Savant (not to mention possibly-scum Zymf) makes me worried, too.

Last night, I targeted Fro99er, figuring that no matter what, it was a win. Him getting converted from Amnesiac? Becomes town and sees the notes I posted in case I died during the night. Him choosing to be cult? I kill him. Him choosing to be a serial killer? I still get that feedback.

For there to be a town citizen would require two of three random slots to be government. This is why I called BS on Aronis's claim. Because, I repeat, again...what is the point of having a mason recruitment if there can quite literally be zero players to recruit?

Mason recruiters in every place I've seen them have worked so that they will succeed against any town-or-neutral party except evil ones like serial killers. That's my experience with the role. Why

1: Yakko is not a universal townread. Even if he was, his skills as a scumhunter are not necessarily top-tier. That makes him a sub-optimal nightkill. 2: But even if he was targeted...he was converted into a citizen, no? Well, citizens are given a 1x bulletproof vest. He uses it, he's invincible for the night. (Vest activation resolves before kills which resolve before recruits. Therefore, my recruit can't remove the vest. Though that'd actually still confirm me as town if Yakko died as a mason.)

So I realized I never got around to paraphrasing my PT. It was open during the pregame, during which, I asked if I could convert pre-game. (The mod said no.) I also asked if posting in there counted as a confirm. (The mod said yes.)

Then night one came around, and I asked if the mod accepted night actions in the PT. (The mod said yes.) In that same post, I submitted my Fro99er recruit, stating that there'd be no better use for a benevolent third party other than becoming a mason.

Figuring there was a slight risk I could die, I left a couple of posts for Fro99er, the first where I declared that THIS (that being, I'm a mason leader) was my reasoning for suspecting Hippy Love--multiple times, I caught apparent mason leader breadcrumbs, which I knew was impossible, which is why I did what I did in-thread.

Then, I did some (bad) scumhunting. I mentioned that two neutrals were down, with Fro99er as a third to, with luck, be joining me. I wasn't sure who the last would be.

I stated {Dwlee, Zymf} were my scum candidates, and that Jeanne

could

possibly be scum, though I still had my eye on both Hippy Love and Idiot Savant. I stated my belief that within those five, we'd find the three scum and one neutral.

But that's all I did.

As long as the protectives announce who they're protecting as to be held accountable for their actions, we'll have at least one confirmed town alive.
Scum can't nightkill that many players.

I'd lynch Jeanne from there. Between Idiot Savant and Firebringer we have a

possible

scum, but again, since they're protectives with no roleblocker in the setup, scum will be forced to kill them eventually, meaning no sense worrying about them.

So the remaining scum is between {Smithereens, Hippy Love, ForWhomTheJellyRolls}.

We have more than enough lynches to lynch them all.
